Reliable Under Heavy Load – Best Fuse We've Used
We run a busy motorcycle shop where our equipment pushes electrical limits daily. The Bussmann BP/FRN-R-60 60 Amp fuse has been a game changer. While we still need to replace it about once a week due to our high-demand setup, that's way better than the every-other-day replacements we dealt with using other brands. It's clearly more durable and consistent. If your system runs hard like ours, this fuse is definitely worth it.

Tend to blow when it’s really hot outside
I have these in a disconnect box next to my 60amp Tesla wall charger. Over five years I’ve replaced the fuses 4 times, which is fine as it prevents my main panel breaker tripping instead. I noticed when it’s really hot out and I’m charging my car that they tend to get very hot and one invariably blows. They’re not cheap, so that’s annoying, but to be fair, it’s under a good load when charging the car and it’s like 105 F outside.

Quality fuses at a great price
I am using these busman time delayed 250v 60 amp fuses for my solar panels, these panels use 2 fuses. I wanted these on hand since we started having issues with blown fuses and the solar installation co. would take several days to come out and replace them. I got these fuses with a puller so I could replace them myself. Win win for use and the solar company. These 2 fuses have not gone bad yet after one month.

HVAC annual service tech said my old fuses were getting bad, we shook them and heard something akin to sand rattling around inside. His charge $55 to replace. These were $14 and took five minutes to replace. No clue if they will last 10 years or so, but as of today a great value.
