Swimming Pool Electric heater 9kw

This heater should only come on when the pool pump is on and working. It is a 9kW heater and therefore water should be circulating through it when it's on otherwise it would overheat. All installations should be done by properly qualified experts.I am awarding five stars just so I can submit this comment. I have not purchased one. I have got a similar one installed in my pool.

We bought this and thought it would be a straight forward installation job. You need to be aware that it does NOT come with a plug. It is not ready to be used. It needs to be installed by a proper electrician. We paid over £1000 to have a new fuse box installed and a special high power plug. We accepted this, though this was not mentioned by the seller. When it was installed, it initially did not work and only showed the amber light. It will only heat water when the red light is on. We fiddled with it forever and eventually the red light went on and it started to heat the water. Unfortunately, as soon as the filter pump is off and the heat pump was off and then gets turned on again, it never works and you will have to figure out for hours why not. We never knew what the problem was but it is likely that a tiny bit of air trapped inside causes it to stop working. This pump is an absolute nightmare. It does not work and will give you nothing but hassle. Would have given it zero stars if I could. DON'T BUY!!!
