Plus Flea and Tick Treatment for Dogs (Extra Large Dog, 89-132 Pounds, 6 Doses)

Used this in the past and started using the other top selling brand that starts with an A.. dog still had fleas. Went back to this brand and no fleas!

Works well for all my dogs. Takes a few days to start working.

This worked great on getting rid of fleas. This on one that is ok to use on cats and dogs. The formula is the same. I have many outdoor cats to I bought the pack for the largest dog and a few drops on each cat did the trick and fleas were gone.

I’m sure they are helping, but I seem to still have issues with fleas on my Great Dane and my Pyrenees. I do not have any issues with texts though.

I've been using Merial Frontline Plus Flea and Tick Control for 6 years now and I've yet to experience any issues with the product itself. I wish I didn't need to use any flea and tick medication on my dog but I would rather be safe than sorry. I go on long hikes with my boy a lot deep in the woods inside forest preserves and so far he has never gotten any fleas or ticks on him (or brought anything into the home). I attribute it to the fact that he's been on Frontline Plus. I realize that this is a pesticide but as a responsible dog owner, I would rather that he not suffer from what fleas and ticks could do to him physically without the appropriate preventative medication. My dog is very friendly and he meets many dogs around the neighborhood as well so he could easily pick up fleas and ticks from non-treated dogs but knowing that he is covered gives me some peace of mind. I trust Merial Frontline Plus to keep my dog safe and have been using this product for years without any issues. I always check every box and every vial to ensure that they're the real thing and so far I've never encountered any issues that people have mentioned. While I like the fact that vials are well protected, I do find it a bit cumbersome to open and takes a lot of effort and patience. Overall, I would definitely recommend Frontline to keep my pet safe from fleas and ticks so I would give it a 4.5/5.0. -10/06/2014

I generally try to keep flea spot-on around because I do cat rescue. Before anyone declares - "Wait this is for DOGS, not cats!!!" I AM working with a VET that tells me the exact amount to give based on weight. I have a scale & needless syringe. This is the same product just packaged & weighed differently. It's all good. Anyways, getting the poor babies off the street, most of the time they are covered with fleas (& eat mites). When I ordered this I was switching brands because it seemed like the other brand just wasn't working as well any longer. I thought that if I used something different it would help. Boy was I wrong. The fleas are worse than ever now. Despite dosing every 2 weeks! (Again - VET advice) It just reminds me of why I stopped using Frontline in the first place.... It didn't work. I might as well have flushed my money down the toilet. If used as a PREVENTATIVE every month then I think this would be fine. But if you find yourself in the midst of a flea invasion of epic proportions. (3 new cars brought in and within a month, despite keeping them separatex, all 6 of my cats & my dog were covered in fleas. And that was AFTER using this on everyone as soon as the 1st cat was rescued.) So if you are going to use this monthly without fail then you should be fine. But if you suddenly notice a few fleas on your pet then prepare for battle! Great your animals, your house, and your yard. Then keep repeating this cycle. Make sure you vacuum and empty the vacuum cleaning outside. I highly recommend using diatomaceous earth on your carpets/rugs. I even put it on the animals to help them. You can also give them Nitenpyram (CapStar), which acts almost instantly and can be given to them every 2 days. Like I said....prepare for war. This Frontline has NOT helped in my situation. The animals didn't even have one day of relief. The dog is tearing herself apart even more now than she did prior to her treatment. I think water would've given me the same results and cost less.

It says there is 6 doses inside but i received only 3 and package was opened!
