MD20 Mini Deluxe Amp

I wasn’t expecting much from this small lamp and thought it was a bit of a gimmick, but a nice present for someone who is learning with Guitar??, but didn’t have space for lots of kit. As the sound is brilliant. It comes with all the jacks and a power cable, also works off batteries. Recipient really happy with it and it’s taking it on holiday a couple of times.

Neat and handy little practice amp. Runs on a supplied 9v battery, or mains adapter. Very handy if you have a tube amp and just want to switch on and play, without warming up your amp first. Highly recommended, and a lot of fun!

I bought one of these for carrying around with my Steinberger Headless travel Guitar because I don't like using headphones much (otherwise I would have paid similar money for the Vox Classic Rock headphone Amp). It lasts quite well on its battery and "just" fits in my Gig-Bag (but I don't have the standard Steinberger one). In its price range (typically £40) its probably the best portable amp (the Marshal MS2 is even smaller but i couldn't test it at the time). For the money and with a strict requirement of cheap portability its not bad but if you don't worry about portability something like a 10W BB Blaster would be much better sounding and similar priced and if size and money is less critical the Yamaha THR5 is definitely worth a look particularly as it also runs on batteries.

Having bought the Blackstar Fly 3 Mini recently, I then added another electric guitar to my collection and thought to try this slighter cheaper Fender amp. Big mistake, the Fly 3 is better in every way possible and and sounds excellent for just a little extra. The Fender is so overdriven and distorted by comparison and just gets painful to listen to... I am ordering another Fly 3 and will probably just write this off and bin it.

OK as a bit of fun, but that's about it. Spend the extra and get the Blackstar Fly - it's in an other league!

After getting my stratocaster, I started buying equipment, most amplifiers were too expensive for me, when i saw this, the price was just right and reviews looked good so i bought it. I couldn't actually beleive the size, the sound and also the fact it was battery operated! a bit let down by not supplied with its own cable but hey its portable!

Great little amp worked fine after I used 6amp and not the 9 amp adaptor which was recommended .The sound is fine for basic guitar work

Wel betaald, nooit geleverd. Bezorgdienst 'dragonfly' is niet te bereiken. Contact opgenomen met Amazon zelf, die heeft het gelukkig wel netjes opgelost.

Quitando que la física es inquebrantable y que, por ese motivo, un altavoz del diámetro de una ciruela pequeña no nos dará graves, y que la potencia no va a hacer que se despeine quien se ponga enfrente, es admirable como pasa de tonos cristalinos a una bonita saturación. Es un pelín ruidoso, pero nada que impida concentrarte en tu guitarra cuando ya estás tocando. Pesa muy poco, así que ojo dónde lo sitúas, no vaya a volar, arrastrado por el cable, en un arranque de pose rockera: cualquier insinuación de movimiento del cable lo va a desplazar.

Lo compre para mi hijo y esta muy contento, dice que esta muy bien para el tamaño, de echo pensé que era una poco grande pero cumple con su función.
