Well made very nice no gasket on the box itself though.
Works well wire is flexible in warm weather I don't know about cold though nice box but no gasket on it but still should last many years .

My RV tows a Jeep
I installed this on my Jeep, since I tow it with my RV. The Jeep is now just like a trailer. I just plug it into the RV. Good quality, good price

NOT EVEN CLOSE TO WATER RESISTANT!
The media could not be loaded. I get real irritated when I buy something that claims waterproof or water resistant when it is not.This is a hard plastic box with a hard plastic cover with no seal, and 4 hard plastic plugs that are loose fitting.It is good quality construction, just NOT even slightly water resistant.If you put this on your trailer tounge the water WILL make its way in there in a thunderstorm with wind and water going in every direction behind your truck at 50-60mph.The reason this is getting great reviews is because it is well built and nice, and then people install it, then leave a review....Give it a year of humidity and driving though rain and all of these people leaving good reviews will be buying another one.But of all the pictures from reviewers I don't see any that are after a trailer run after 4 or 5 hours of driving though heavy rains or storms....

Good product, with one minor issue.
Good product. Propper gauge wires. More than enough length. Plug and and connection box is of decent construction and material. One issue is if the bolts are over tightened they can strip the plastic mold that holds them. Suggest to hand tighten only.
