Have never seen this high level of hilarious and pleasant gay theme movie of my life before!
Grateful for having this fantastic film seen and collected for my own! It introduced me for noticing this wonderful actor, Luke Macfarlane! For loving this film, that I’ve gone to cinemas for 7 times for it just before it went off screen (at least for during short 5 weeks-lived). After all it’s for how much I love this film! For owning this BD/DVD/Digital set is also my dream. Since I had memories, I found I were usually sad and depressed while watching every gay-theme movies for all these years. Glad this film turn it around over and made audiences feeling so happy, eased, fine and still touched to finish watching the whole movie! I’m happy and grateful to have this film to enjoy just before I die. And I know for sure, this movie is going to be my all-time favorite gay theme movie for such long long time in my life!! Congrats to the film, except the poor box offices around the world unfortunately. Feel sad about those whom hasn’t enjoyed the movie. For me it isn't only a milestone for a gay rom-com also a heartwarming flick in the deepest of me! Time will tell everything about this brilliant movie! And the bonus Special Features, there are Deleted Scenes, Gag Reel, Representational Matters, From Start to Finish, Introducing Bobby and Aaron, The Cast & The Cameos, The Art of the Rom-Com with Billy And Nick, The Bros National LGBTQIA+ History Museum, The Making of A deleted Scene. I think the contents are great and rich! And especially the Gag Reel section is super fun, interesting and hilarious for me!! I do really love this set for the fabulous movie, and be so happy for being one of my own favorite movie collections!!

"Our stories are only now beginning to be told" (properly): BROS. Review
One of the key points of "Bros" is that gay stories are only just beginning to be told properly. So what if "Bros", the first "gay rom-com" backed by a major Hollywood studio, barely made a dime in cinemas. The point, and the miracle, is that it finally exists!! As a Bonus Featurette makes bluntly clear: Proper representation DOES Matter, and it does make all the difference in the world. "Bros" does not say that gay people are tragic, or transcendent, or fabulous, or even nice all the time. Gay people are just people, trying to work through and with all their flaws and insecurities in a very messy, imperfect world. It is more than a bit sad that it took until 2022 for cinema to get this far. But, here we are-- AT LONG LAST!! But to label "Bros" a "rom-com" is a dis-service to writers Nicholas Stoller and Billy Eichner. Yes, "Bros" acknowledges and pays tribute to the tropes and conventions in more "traditional rom-coms", but it cuts much deeper than that. It has often been said that comedy is merely "tragedy plus time" and "Bros." proves it. It definitely helps that Billy Eichner comes across as a jaded Average Gay Joe. He is extremely relatable. And "Bros" is not a "coming of age" gay story. It is a gay story told by gay actors who have already been there and done that. The main character of Bob is just over 40. He has resigned himself to his snarky podcast, trying to open up an LGBTQ+ History Museum with colleagues who have too many personal agendas, and a life of hook-ups without substance. Billy Eichner goes far beyond his "Billy On The Street" persona and delivers an often heart-breaking performance that deftly mixes comedy with pain. He is still full of razor-sharp wit, delicious one-liners and wisecracks, but here you see the pain and insecurity behind the surface bravado. One suspects that Eichner, like his character of Bob, is sick and tired of being marginalized by mainstream heterosexual society-- tired of being told to tone himself down and be less than he is in order to make others comfortable. Bob is in the uncomfortable position of being 'too gay and outspoken" for his potential boyfriend Aaron (Luke MacFarlane) and "not gay enough" for his co-workers. The attraction between Bob and Aaron is as unlikely as it is unexpected. They don't exactly "meet cute" in typical "rom-com" fashion. Luke MacFarlane is dreamy, but Aaron works hard to dispel some preconceptions and misconceptions about himself. There is a heart, soul, feelings, and some unrealized dreams behind Aaron's "gym body." And breaking down Bob's insecurities is no easy task. Going from hook-up to relationship to break-up and a tenuous make-up, Bob and Aaron inspire, challenge, hurt, and heal each other. The course of love never runs smooth but, for all its honest and honestly jaded observations, "Bros" has enough pure heart to say that the journey is worth it. "Bros" features cameos by Kirsten Chenoweth, Debra Messing, Harvey Fierstein, Bowen Yang and others.

Are you Ready for It?
This Judd Apatow movie takes a deep dive into what its like to be a single gay man in America, and not in the ridiculous Hallmark way, which is hilariously trolled in this movie. Billy Eichner stars in this unexpected romantic comedy, he is witty and sarcastic to another level. The one thing that shocked me about this movie is how explicit they went with the "love scenes" They discussed issues I've never seen on the big screen and displayed acts I've only seen in a very different kind of movie. A lot of people including friends of mine in the LGBTQ community were not ready for it. I just thought it was funny. I particularly liked Debra Messing's cameo and the fact that there is a lot of hilarious self depreciation of the gay community itself.

Groundbreaking film with LOADS of extras!
As the first big studio guy, romcom, this film is a bit of a history making endeavour. Some of the reviews I read before I purchased this were a bit lukewarm, and I can’t understand why. This is such a well written, well made story full of depth, feeling and humour, that I’ve watched it quite a few times. Eichner simultaneously plays homage to traditional romance tropes while also subverting them through a queer prism. There are lots of Easter eggs, and the whole film is deeply infused with LGBTQ history. The lead performances are wonderful, and all the cast members were all fantastic. I suppose because of the historical importance of this film, the filmmakers have loaded the Blu-ray and DVD with heaps of fascinating extras. This is terrific value for money, and I thoroughly enjoyed the film and the extras, and will no doubt watch again.
