Does this product remove stains?

I always add a tablespoon of bicarbonate of soda to white wash and less to dark washes - I soak ballpoint stains in milk first; blood in cold water first; cant vouch for grass stains; paprika/tomato I soak in dilute bleach - but most other stains wash out very well. And you dont itch!! so on the whole yes.

Do these come in a plastic or linen bag please?

How do you use them in a washing machine?

There should be a little cotton drawstring bag with the soap nuts. Place a handful of soap nuts in the bag and put it into the drum with your wash load. Someone has thrown my bag away so I put them in a sock a knot the open end 

So how do these work in a dishwasher please...intriqued...love using them in the washing machine

Put 5 nuts into the cutlery compartment with cutlery, choose a standard wash programme. No need to use the dishwasher rinse aid. Works well. Hope that helps
