The lightest shift I have ever known. Very pleased. Replaces Claris FD-R2000 which was too tough from low to high due to the angle of pull on this bike - too acute. Claris is alright on another bike, though. BEWARE - it needs 30mm clearance from 90mm up from the chainstay to the seat tube. With some bikes, the rear wheel is too close to the seat tube for this derailleur. Review: Great product. 5stat review and super recomend - Good product. Super recomend ## Features - Dual SIS Front Index Shifting - Wide parallelogram for faster switching and greater durability - Dual pull design allows it to be used with top or bottom cable routing. - Multi clamp band is compatible with all frame dimensions - Compact top swing design. Suitable for 7 / 8 Speed drivetrains. Clamp size : 31.8-34.9mm (28.6mm will require a spacer). ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00EIE9P6O | | Best Sellers Rank | 59,247 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) 13 in Bike Front Dérailleurs | | Brand | SHIMANO | | Brand Name | SHIMANO | | Case Material Type | Metal | | Colour | metallic silver | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 193 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 05055362091826 | | Item Weight | 540 g | | Item weight | 540 g | | Manufacturer | Shimano | | Manufacturer Part Number | FDM310X6 | | Material | Metal | | Material Type | Metal | | Model Number | FDM310X6 | | Mount Type | Clamp-On Mount | | Mounting type | Clamp-On Mount | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Teeth | 44 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** SHIMANO - **Colour:** metallic silver - **Item weight:** 540 g - **Material:** Metal - **Mounting type:** Clamp-On Mount ## Images ![Shimano Altus 7/8 Speed MTB Hybrid Front Mech Gear Derailleur FDM310, Silver - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71I3I5CMiUL.jpg) ![Shimano Altus 7/8 Speed MTB Hybrid Front Mech Gear Derailleur FDM310, Silver - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71dEGnp2H0L.jpg) ![Shimano Altus 7/8 Speed MTB Hybrid Front Mech Gear Derailleur FDM310, Silver - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71Mz7wv9VcL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Light Smooth Shifting and Can Use On a Double *by M***) on 25 May 2025* Used on a double chainset 50/34 - 8 speed - it works very well.
