It was not visible to the naked eye but when I removed it and laid it on a flat surface it was obvious. So I ordered this hanger, it arrived in a couple of days and is an exact fit for my Vertigo Piccadilly. It also comes with the attachment screw although that is not shown in the photo. I was able to set the gears up in a matter of minutes, the bike indexes perfectly now.
