hansgrohe Vernis Blend Shower Set 2.5 GPM, 1-Spray Full Shower Trim Kit in Matte Black, 04952670

This shower head set looks nice, it cleans easily and is straight forward to install. There is nothing wrong with it by any means, it works well, seems nice. The big problem is the price, it feels like a $50 shower head, I know you pay a premium of Hansgrohe, but this just feels cheap. We have them in all of our bathrooms, our wet bar, and most of their premium stuff is just that, premium, but their cheaper stuff, not that this is cheap, but it feels much lower quality than I would hope from Hansgrohe and for this price point.

I chose this shower combo to replace the junk builder grade one that they installed in my upstairs hall bathroom. I have owned products by Hansgrohe before and like that it's a German product. I didn't install this myself because my brother is a plumber, so I can't speak to the difficulty, but it seemed fairly basic. I got the black matte and it looks great against my tan tile. I'm very happy with the water pressure at 2.5 GPM. My one complaint would be that it's made of plastic. I think at this price point that they could afford to use a little better material.

We already had a Hansgrohe set in another bathroom, so decided to go Hansgrohe in our son's bathroom. The set is beautiful, it's made of a Matte Black finish that looks very nice.I like that the rough plumbing from Hansgrohe is universal, just need to get the iBox Universal Rough separately. It's easy enough to change the trim in the future if you want to change the look since the universal rough fits across multiple product lines within Hansgrohe. They have great quality products, so I'm happy with this set.

The color is black matte but it's plastic not metal. Unfortunately for the price, I was hoping for it to be all metal which in my opinion seems more durable.
