Protect your plants from Voles
These have been a great way to protect your garden plants from being eaten by Voles from below the ground. I list many Hostas, Cedum, Herbs, Dahlias and more. But those days are over with these planting bags to protect the roots if your favorite plants. We have ordered at least 15 of these and will order more as the need arises. Great Effective Quality Product.5 stars for sure !!!

Soooo easy to use!
We lost several fruit bushes to moles this year....grrrr....... had to dig up and put down hardware wire.... WHAT A PAIN!! hubby is now using these bags to plant grape vines..... he reports it is LOTS easier then using the hardware wire.... and confident they will protect the plant roots. From now on... we won't plant ANYTHING without these.... quite a bargain to save plantings from those awful moles and voles!!

Saved my garden
We have gophers bad! Bought these to wrap around all my plants to go into the ground. Easy to unroll and put over roots just be sure you use the correct size and it fits up around base of plants. Gophers can’t get to roots! Saved me a ton of money because I kept having to buy new plants. Dang gophers! Sizes are accurate

Clever but they have drawbacks
My garden, mostly flowers, is loaded with vermin, gophers and moles. I recently redid my yard and have watched the trails and mounds showing up everywhere. Depending on the size of your plants, these sacks may be tricky to use. I think some planting techniques and practice are in order. Plants want to spread their roots, which these bags would easily allow, however, the smaller ones would still allow a critter to nibble roots as they emerge from the mesh. This may or may not be damaging enough to compromise the plant. So, in theory, these are smart. In practice, may be a bit challenging. I purchased the same material in sheet form and will be experimenting to see if just wrapping the root ball is easier than trying to jam a plant into a bag.

Time will tell, but for now they seem to be working
Trying to have healthy succulents in an area where gophers (and who knows what else) like to crawl through the ground and eat roots was getting impossible. Each morning I'd walk out to my garden in a game of "What have they eaten now?" The critters will suck the plant from inside the earth and that would be the end of my plants. Or they'd chew the entire root system and the succulent would just be sitting on top of the earth with not a single root remaining.I didn't want to dig a ginormous trench and line the whole thing in mesh because that just seemed a bit much for this half-assed gardener. So I took an easier path and ordered a set of these baskets. Then I dug up all my plants (the ones that remained), placed them in the mesh baskets and replanted. It seems to be working against the underground critters. However, the above-ground critters are still a concern. I'll give it a few more weeks and see how it goes, but for now, I remain optimistic. For any new plants I'm adding, I make sure they are in a basket as well.

Worth a Try to keep the plants alive
I hope these will keep my plants from being the next gopher snack. Good quality, easy to use. Time will tell. I think it's a good alternative to keep gophers away.

Angenehm bei Handhabung
Bisher wachsen alle Pflanzen, die die Körbe bekommen haben. Soweit so gut.Abzug wegen der kleinsten Netze (wer kann so etwas winziges brauchen?).
