My husband thinks this knife sharpener is easy to use and it certainly make it easy to carve the meat.

had a set of knives that i actually wanted to throw away because they didn't cut at all but decided to try this sharpener first. so happy i did it! the sharpener worked great and the knives are sharper than they ever been! it was very quick and easy to use. happy with the purchase.

Easy to use and works well - would have been nice if it worked with serrated blades.

I can't say that I've owned many knife sharpeners in the past, and I can't comment on its effectiveness with very expensive, high quality knives, but I can't find any faults with this for my needs. It's easy to use, the instructions are clear and obvious, and it comes just as described. It sharpened both my kitchen devil and other brands of knives well and breathed new life into some of the more blunt ones.I'd happily recommend this to anybody looking for a reasonably priced manual knife sharpener for average day-to-day use. If you're looking for something to sharpen expensive knives then you might need to look somewhere else, but this was perfectly good for my needs.

Works amazing. ONLY FOR NON SERRATED KNIVES. Wish they would clearly mention that on amazon. The bottom came off once but pushed it back in to it's slot and it did not affect the performance. It sharpens knives effortlessly and quickly.

Very quick to sharpen - very little loss of material over several years much better than other sharpeners which rely on micro shaving the edge to sharpen causing a quicker loss of blade material.

Delivery:Spot on,item arrived within the time statedby amazon/the seller with no issues.Description/In-use:This is a hand held black plastic knife sharpener,it does have four little round rubber feet on thebottom for added security when in use.The sharpen-ing blade is made from ceramic & is in the form ofa wheel,the whole item is fairly light weight to hold.The sharpener is ambidextrous(L 0r R handed)so every-one should feel comfortable using it,for most blades,you just need to gently push the blade back & forthabout ten times while,using a downward pressure.Don`t use to much pressure though as,you`ll end upwith an uneven edge on your blade &,you`ll wear yourblade/s out very quickly!I`ve use the term blade here as,we do use this onother blades as well as knifes like,scissor`s etc.Sum-up:For the money this item is selling for,it`s not bad but,because of the wearing down effect I mentioned earlier,this only scores three stars,thank you for reading.

Works as advertised and does a great job of touching up the edge between wet stone sharpening. At this price, worth having in your toolbox for quick touchup.
