Great product
I have a job where, regardless of the weather, you have to go in to work....early. I placed one of these light bulbs into each of my bathroom lights that are on either side of my bathroom mirror. Now, after a bad storm and the electricity is out, I can get dressed and apply makeup without a flashlight. The light is strong and makes you forget that the rest of the house is going to be dark once you leave the room. To fix that situation, I now have more these light bulbs in my living room and walk-in closet.

Very happy
Very nice. I lost power soon after buying them and was real happy to see how bright these are. Gives off a lot of light . Comes on almost as soon as the power went out. Not sure how long they last . The power only went out for 30 min but was very good the whole time. I was so happy I got some to put through the whole house. We loose power lot here so I feel like it’s a good buy

Bigger than the average.
I bought this for my bathroom table, I don't have an outlet anywhere near. It doesn't fit in my lamp, it's bigger than the average light bulb. It screws in and works, but the bulb itself is large and too tall for my lampshade. I'm trying to figure out where else I can use it. It's bright and works well other than that.

Don't buy these if you want them as an emergency light
These are pretty good lights just for being lights but if you are trying to use them as an emergency light don't bother because their design doesn't make sense. First, if you want to charge them they have to be plugged in and the light switch has to be on so you basically have to leave them on all day the bad part is as soon as you turn the light switch off they stay on and drain all that battery you spent hours charging. There should be a switch that allows them to go into a charge mode or just use direct current while keeping the charge in the battery. That way when there is an emergency and the power goes out I can just unscrew them flip the switch and tell the light bulb to start using the battery. As it stands now there is no way to do that so the battery just gets drained. Also, as some of the other reviewers said the light doesn't last nearly as long as they claim. It starts to dim real fast to the point where it shouldn't even count as being turned on. I don't know if the lights I had were fully charged because there is no way to tell and like I said before unless you completely unscrew the bulb it will default and start to use its stored charge but I only got about 30 mins of usable light before they died out and that was with two different bulbs. Right now I just am using them as regular lights and I gave up on charging them and keeping them because I would basically have to take them out after they are charged and just store them in a box which defeats the purpose of owning a light bulb if you cant use it in non emergency times as well. So its your choice you get to pick one option either charge them and store them and they are emergency bulbs or keep them plugged in and use them as regular bulbs but they will never keep a charge because as soon as you turn the light off the emergency mode automatically kicks in unless you just keep screwing them in and unscrewing them as you need them.

Very short battery life defininately not for camping
I bought these bulbs to use for camping. The description seemed exactly what I wanted.Pros: They are as bright as they say – easily comparable to a 60w incandescent bulb. The plastic button cap is convenient and has a hanger.Cons: The web page claims "4-5 hours without power". The box claims "Up to 3-4 hours". Both claims are wrong. Battery life I experienced is very short. Less than two hours there is not enough light left to read a book (see photos). Recharging is can only be done while screwed into a 110v lamp socket and the light has to be on. This makes it difficult to recharge while camping. Not stated anywhere in the information is that recharging takes 8-10 hours – only found this out by asking the seller. No full charge indicator. The web page also claims "For Power Outage Emergency Bulb Auto on when it happened". It DOES NOT come on automatically when the power goes out. You have to unscrew it from the lamp, put the switch cap on and press the on button – a regular flash light would be better than this.I will be returning these bulbs because of too short battery life and difficulty to recharge.

These are so great! (Also, they are large)
These are so cool and I'm so happy with them. They're very bright but the light is really warm, and for my usage so far there's been no dimming or battery issues.A word of caution: they're larger than normal-sized bulbs so they don't fit in all light fixtures. But I've been looking into these for a while and it seems like battery-operated bulbs are always large, so nothing to do about it.

Great Idea for Power Outages
I was surprised these bulbs even items existed when a friend showed me how they worked in his apartment. Great idea since apartments don't have power backups. In my house I have them in the garage to light my way to the generator and in the furnace room. I have a portable desk lamp set up that I can walk around the house. Staggered usage would greatly prolong emergency light for those without a generator. Great invention at a reasonable price.

Battery could be better
It is usefull. We are renovating the kitchen so no light right now. I use it over the diner table during supper. Brightness is great for the first 25-30 minutes. Then it fades until the battery is out. It should last longer but for the price (20$ for 2 bulbs) it is a great product!

They work!
These were replacing light bulbs from Boundery that didn't work (no one from Boundery bothered calling or emailing me back after I let them know). But THESE lightbulbs worked exactly as promised. Very happy with these. Avoid the other guys.

No Battery Life
These are the most disappointing lights ever. Purchased for wall mounted lighting in my bedroom & even after charging for days & days, they last an hour TOPS at a normal light level then drastically dim to barely any light after an hour. Super disappointing.
