Fab mouthpiece for the money
A really great mouthpiece at an affordable price. Plays easily in all octaves from low Bb to high F#. I use with a java green 2.5 reed. I have much more expensive mouthpieces and this one is just as good. I would recommend for all beginners to advanced players.

Great tone
I can't understand why this mouthpiece was so cheap. It's well made and performs like a much more expensive mouthpiece. I have a 3 reed on for use with my 1970s tenor sax and the tone is great. Easy to blow too unlike other cheap mouthpieces. Get one!

Graftonite Saxophone Mouthpieces - A Variable Experience
I am just about intermediate sax playing standard and have three Graftonite sax mouthpieces, two for a tenor and one alto. The first I bought some time ago was a B5 for a tenor and I still use it as my principal tenor mouthpiece. With the right medium soft reed is easy to blow across the full range, and produces a rich ‘Ben Webster’ sound with my horn but, if required, will play loud, and I am fully satisfied with it. The second tenor mouthpiece is a C3 which I recently acquired as-new but cheap off an auction site but I have found it is more difficult to control, and with the same range of reeds I use on the B5 tenor will screech at the top end if I don’t get my embouchure right. So I don’t use it much. The third mouthpiece is the alto and also a B5, and the selection of a B5 was based on my favourable tenor B5 experience. But I have found it difficult to blow, it has a slightly muffled sound, and I haven’t really got on with it. I also found it was a very tight fit on the neck cork. So I bought an alto Yamaha 6C to try, and found for me is much much better, easier to blow across the range and control and I will stick with that. Plus I like the 6C sound. So my experience is a bit hit and miss with these Graftonite mouthpieces but since they are quite cheap its worth buying one to try if you want an upgrade from one that came with a budget saxophone purchase. Finally they are very durable, but the step at the mouthpiece side rails compared to most other mouthpieces is a bit odd and you can lose air from it when playing, especially with the alto version, unless you have a really tight embouchure.
