I've owned around 5 Mercedes-Benz diesels and I can honestly say this is one of the greatest belts I've ever purchased for my car. Installation wasn't easy, but that was partially my fault. Having said that I love the belt and couldn't be happier.Oh, I also purchased a "used" belt for around 7 dollars, but when the package arrived the belt was brand new, the rubber still smelled fresh. Maybe it was a return. Regardless I highly recommend this belt to anyone who drives a Mercedes-Benz.

I've used Gatorback belts on my Mercedes and Jeep vehicles for years now. They are simply the best belts I have ever used. Easy to install, long lasting, low cost, and never a squeak. With older Mercedes many of the German belts have a tendency to squeak over time ..... so I switched to Gatorback belts based on a user recommendation and I've been happy ever since.

After 3 belts that all squealed intermittently. I went on the hunt for a Goodyear gatorback belt. This is a Goodyear gator back belt in a Continental package for whatever logistical reason. Belt is quiet!

I paid more for a lessor quality belt at a big chain store. Returned that and bought this. Very happy that I did, it's far superior.
