However going through many reviews there are claims of rusting and breaking. This is fully plastic so zero chance of rust and it is obviously incredibly sturdy as this is designed to be a step stool. Unlike most proper shower stools this folds neatly and can be stored plus it can still do it’s designed job of being a step stool should I need something off the top shelf of my cupboards. Now that I live with two other people, who are vertically challenged, this item is always in use. It is made of strong lightweight black plastic which Folds up when not in use. It's not very stylish but it is incredibly useful. Should have bought it years ago.Update: I've used this regularly for nearly two years and has developed a crack on one of the centre pieces. It grew slowly even though I always tried out out my weight where it was most stable.
