This camera was easy to hook up and works well the the Swann security app. However setting up the cruise was a pain and there’s no clear directions how to set up the cruise.Once you do have it set up on cruise it will NOT make notification on the app once it senses motion. In effect, when it’s cruising it will record and take a large amount of recording space but it when automatically notify of motion since it’s continuously moving. If you have it stationary it will give you notifications.Also there’s no auto zoom during motion activation.The bottom line is this camera is more useful on a manual basis. But it’s got good picture quality during the day, at night is nothing to write home about.Worth about 150-180 no more than that in my opinion.

Está cámara de seguridad es 3 veces más grande que una regular. Esperaba que se moviera a cualquier movimiento y no es así, lo tienes que mover manualmente y no tiene mucho zoom. Mejor hasta ese dinero es dos cámaras.

Once I plugged it into the Swann hard drive with my other 4 cams, it worked for about a week no problems then all of a sudden there was an app upgrade (or did they find out this POE was newly connected and now wanted more info?) because the former app is still active so I had to now register and give my location and all my information including turning off VPN so it could connect and then guess what? The thing still didn’t work! Now they have all my info and I can’t view cameras anymore on my phone through their so-called new app (Swann Security v. HomeSafe View). Won’t EVER buy another Swann product. I was a happy Swann customer; now I am no longer.

It dose not Auto Track why else have a pan & Tilt.Very Disappointed!

I have purchased two of these cameras. The first one from Swann Australia. When I went to buy another they were out of stock so I purchased the second one from Amazon Australia. The part number in the Amazon description is listed as SWNHD-900PT-US which made me wonder if it was a US version. I can confirm that the one purchased directly from Swann Australia and the one purchased via Amazon Australia are both identical. The Part Number on both boxes is SWNHD-900PT (with no ‘-US’). The barcodes on the boxes are the same too. The only difference I have found was that the Amazon purchased one had the latest firmware whereas the Swann Australia purchased one (purchased 2 weeks earlier) had older firmware. This is neither here nor there as the firmware is user updatable.These cameras are great - it is fantastic to have the pan-and-tilt function for watching wider areas such as checking on a pet in the backyard. However, analytics that depend on zones outlined on the images (such as perimeter-intrusion-detection) move with the camera so may not be useful or applicable for a camera that can be moved!I haven’t yet tried them, so I can’t definitely confirm the existence of these capabilities, but it seems from the setup options that this camera has facial-recognition, human-and-vehicle-detection, and heat-map capabilities.Just a note for anyone upgrading from a fixed camera to one of these… these cameras are physically huge compared to the fixed cameras.

Clear and works well. Not cheap but does what it's ment to.

It's easy to use and u only can control it with ur phone not nvr

I bought two SWNHD-900PT as I have used the brand for around 8 years. I am in my third CCTV upgrade and decided to use the two SWNHD-900PT with the NVR8-8580RN with I can confirm works well.  There are only a couple of things I don’t like about the camera first the video quality is better in the small 4K cameras like the SWNHD-900BE using a 4K monitor or just in the móvil app, there are several types of zone settings and small settings not available for the Pan-Tilt that are available in the other models, the siren is not as loud as in the small cameras (which is bizarre).To conclude; I think the product is good but better do a lot of research before buying it!The unfortunate part of my purchase was that Amazon delivered one of the boxes of the two cameras with the warranty seals opened as if someone had already pulled out the camera tested and returned it, also, the cables were unpacked. So not happy with Amazon.4 stars for the Swann product.1 star for Amazon on this sale.
