KidKraft Mega Ramp Racing Set

Good quality very sturdy my 4 year old loves it and is so excited to play with this! Only took about an hour to put together and all prices were accounted for. We knew this would be much more suitable for our youngster as it doesn't come apart during use like some car tracks. Would recommend.

Très beau garage je l'ai pris pour sa grande rampe pour faire dévaler les voitures les petits adorent jouer avec, je suis juste un peu déçue que la finition de la rampe en bas ne tienne pas du coup je ne la met pas c'est dommage autrement rien à dire le bois est de très bonne qualité et les couleurs sont belles

Das Rennautospiel von KidKraft hat seinen Preis, ist diesen meiner Meinung nach aber auch wert. Wir hatten bereits Parkhäuser von anderen Anbietern, dort war fast alles aus Plastik und dementsprechend schnell "durch", aber das KidKraft behauptet sich auch nach fast 1 1/2 Jahren noch gegen jeglichen Angriff unserer drei Rabauken. Der Zusammenbau war relativ einfach und ging mit zwei Personen problemlos. Gleich zu Beginn funktionierte die Ampel an der Rampe nicht. Nach einer Reklamation beim Hersteller hatten wir innerhalb von zwei Wochen kostenlosen Ersatz erhalten und dann konnte es losgehen. Die Rampe ist lose und wird nur eingehakt, das ist aber nicht weiter schlimm, da das ganze Teil so groß und schwer ist, dass es im Normalfall nicht ständig hin und her bewegt wird. Ansonsten sind auch die Autos und andere lose Teile (Begrenzungen, Tankstelle, etc) natürlich aus Holz gefertigt und dementsprechend sehr robust. Wir würden das Rennautospiel wieder kaufen und sprechen eine klare Kaufempfehlung aus.

My two year old grandson really likes twirly ramps and racing inclines. This is the only well made toy I could find that incorporates the two. I bought Matchbox cars/carrying case to accompany this birthday gift, but grandson prefers playing with the wooden cars and helicopter that were included. Their chunky oversize and simple style is perfect for two year olds. I was surprised to read reviews commenting assembly was difficult. There are many pieces, but they are numbered and directions are clear cut. My daughter easily assembled it by herself and commented afterwards she wished all instructions were that thorough. The colored screw tops blend into the backgrounds and enhance the finished product. I do agree with other reviewers that it would be nice if the end jump ramp was permanently attached but my daughter made a good observation. If it were, the likelihood of breaking at that point would increase dramatically. Grandson doesn't even mind pushing the end ramp back up against the main body. At this point the spiral ramp captures his attention more anyhow. Grandson is mesmerized watching cars go down three levels. He also enjoys the working race light and shouts "go" as the light blinks from red to yellow, then finally green. For such an expensive toy, elevator operation should be smoother. Grandson can't move it at all without assistance. I hurt my fingers between the elevator and roof top numerous times just trying to budge it upwards. Maybe continual use will eventually make movement easier. Overall, I'm very happy to have purchased this racing set as a birthday gift for a two year old boy. It's well made and a toy sure to keep his interest for many years to come.
