Q: What size fan is in this?

60x60x15 is the original fan size for mine. Something to check, the fan might be overdriven (12volt fan being fed 18+ volts).

Q: Will this cool properly if stored inside a weatherproof enclosure (not vented) and run outside year round (max temps in the 90's)?

If it is mounted inside a metal enclosure, acting as heat sink, you might get away with it. Also, the load factor of the supply plays a role. In a case made from plastic (ABS or whatever) I wouldn't. The heat resistance is much higher. In general, the enclosure and it's heat sinking capabilities are the key's not to burn up the supply. All electronic devices are specified at 77F/25C ambient temperature. They can run hotter, but the operation is guaranteed at 77F. Just imagine, you're stuck in a non vented box and it is 90 outside. Very little to no air is circulating and you'll soon have a much higher temperature inside the box and you're getting hotter and hotter, since the heated air has no way to evacuate. Even at lower loads, the temperature can reach dangerous levels, without venting or heat sinking.

Q: If i want to be able to switch this on and off, what kind of switch should i use, and do i install a switch on the ac side, or the dc side?

You can do either AC or DC. If you cut AC you cut all power and save $. I use a wifi controlled switch and can then control it via switch, alexa or google voice.
