Yeah, I've saved games on it and I haven't had any load time issues, stuttering, maybe some latency, but it's much less than what I'm experiencing with my HDD, just make sure it doesn't disconnect while you're playing 🙃 P.D: My PC only has USB 3.0

Will this work on my iPhone 11 Pro Max?

It will not connect to an iPhone. If you have an adapter and format the drive properly it would work on an iphone.
