But as I said I'd leave it overnight in fact I'd leave it as long as possible ,put moisturiser on go about your business for over the day and get washed as normal in the evening , remember to pat dry not to rub too hard!!!  **Q: Do ypu have to spray it. Can you just apply it like face cream?** A: I have a sprayer but I like to use a mitt and do my legs arms and face. It’s good I’ve bought it a couple of times. I do a couple of light coats over 2 days. Then the tan lasts for at least a week **Q: What is the shelf life please?** A: The shelf life is nine months if stored in a cool dark place. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for sensitive skin - easy to apply with mitt *by M***S on 7 September 2017* This is an excellent fake tan! I am deadly pale and have tried hundreds(?) of fake tanners over the years to avoid questions like "you look really ill, what is wrong with you?". I am never going to change again as long as this is available. I find a lot of these products give me an itchy rash (particularly on the legs - no doubt related to hair removal) but this one thanks to the fact it has only a handful of ingredients is completely fine. It can even be worn on the face, which is incredible to me as I break out from most products. The guide colour is also just right. When you wash it off, the colour underneath is pretty close to what you saw before, which makes it easy to adjust the colour on ankles/knees/elbows with a wet cotton ball before it dries. (Most lotions/foams get you all excited you're going to look like a bronzed goddess only to leave you bitterly disappointed when 70% of the colour goes onto the bedsheets and down the plughole.) Given I am a fake tan addict I have deliberately chosen brown bedsheets, but from what I can tell this stuff does not transfer too badly as it leaves no residue on the skin that could potentially rub off.I apply it with a mitt which given it's runny consistency is a must, and after a couple of attempts you'll develop a good technique to avoid any dripping on the floor. Another tip would be to transfer a little product into one of those travel bottles to make it easier to handle and control how much comes out of the bottle. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love this tan. *by M***D on 14 June 2022* Works exactly like it says it does. Super fast results. Obviously I had to try it on myself before I did anyone else. (I used a mitt for application) I’m very olive skinned so kept it on for 2 hours (was a little scared at how white my eyes where looking) hardly any came off in the bath and even better… I don’t smell like fake tan.My treatment room still has a tan smell but half as strong as any other tan. Most importantly I don’t smell. It’s facing lovely also but again I’m quite olive skinned.
