I LOVE this book and read it every morning, perfect for kids and adults!

I feel strongly that my children (12 and 9) develop their own personal friendship with God and wanted to encourage them to read the bible for spiritual 'food' every day. I'm so glad I bought them a copy each of this book. They love reading it and look forward to seeing what's in it every day. My daughter recently started high school and reading these biblical truths in the morning (only takes about 5-10 minutes over breakfast) helps her feel more prepared for whatever pressures the day may hold. Sometimes she re-reads it in the evening too. My 9 year old loves it as well and I've been reading it while waiting for the adult version to arrive! I like being able to read 2 or 3 scriptures on a certain theme and really ponder on their meaning. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this book to other parents.

Wounderful book for my seven year old son,he isn’t able to read words yet but I can read them to him until he’s able this is a book about our lord you can keep for life

Although advertised as Devotions for Kids, this is suitable for everyone. Sarah Young doesn't fail to inspire and comfort with her wise words.It is described as being written in a language and style that kids can relate to, however sometimes, as adults we need to simplify things and get 'back to basics'. The devotions are written as if Jesus is speaking directly to you. Some are more suited to children i.e. references to school but most can be adapted to adult situations. Would definitely recommend

Really love this beautiful little book, I like this edition because of my lack of bible reading in my former lifetime.I can go back to a more latent state of mind and do over devotional reading about Jesus.

I highly recommend this daily reflections book. It carries a wonderful message to all.

Having read the adult version of this title for a number of months, I ordered this book to see how it would translate for classroom use. The text is very accessible and is displayed in a Y4/5 class.

Nice little book. Daughter (8) enjoying reading it every day.Would've been helpful if I realised/description mentioned I was dated! So we've started part way through...come across a couple references to stuff we've "meant" to have read already...Great little book though...

I enjoy doing these devotions in the morning with my kids. They don’t take long to do and they open up conversations about Jesus and everyday life for kids. I love that. Definitely geared towards children over the age of 5, but easy to understand for anyone over that age. Love it!

This devotional is amazing and I'm going to try and get a copy for every kid in our Sunday school. I've used it in teaching and the readings are so to the point. If you are a parent even you may get a lot of discussion and good conversations with your kids. I love reading the adult version, too. It has impacted my faith life and strengthened it. And the devotionals sparked some short lessons on days when we didnt have curriculum to teach on. Also to note the content is simply written enough for any age or background of child, but those gentle, short lessons can be so big!

A must have in every home. Let God guide you everyday.

From day one. It's amazing. Written as if God is speaking to your child in a very gentle voice. I love this and my son does too. We've had a lot of these types of books that Starr strong but fizzle out and end up on the bookshelf. This one is by the bed and read each night. I can't speak to the entire series, but the 1 is great.
