Por qué sí recomendada: La fuente o baño de pájaros es muy bonita, de materiales de calidad (plástico) que se sienten durables y fácil de ensamblar. La bomba funciona con el poder suficiente para su propósito (punto negativo es que no cuenta con switch on/off, por lo que es necesario voltear el panel solar boca abajo o retirarlo de la luz para que deje de trabajar). Se crea un ambiente de frescura y paz simplemente al ver el agua brillar mientras se escucha cómo se derrama entre los niveles de la fuente. Salpica muy poca agua. Se aconseja usar un plato de maceta poco profundo debajo de la fuente para llenarlo con más agua hasta que se inunde el primer nivel de la fuente, ya que la cantidad de agua que se aloja en el primer nivel por sí sola no durará, pues se evapora pronto.Por qué no recomendada: Más bien, no se recomienda para jardines donde el agua sea dura (con mucho contenido de minerales disueltos) ya que la fuente termina el día rodeada de manchas calcáreas blancas, sarro, y lo que es peor: con el tiempo se echa a perder la bomba porque al secarse el agua en el interior de la bomba se forma sarro que a la larga impide que gire la mini turbina; en todo caso, se aconseja llenarla con agua purificada de garrafón todos los días.Lo caro de esta fuente es el panel solar. Por el precio que cuesta esta fuente, se podría adquirir también una bonita fuente artesanal de Tonalá, Jalisco, mucho más grande, pero con bomba a toma corriente estándar.

Looking for affordable ways to spruce up my landscape this summer I stumbled across this super cute 3 tiered solar fountain. it makes for a wonderful bird bath and has attracted all sorts of them over the past couple of months.Very simplistic design, it’s small and extremely lightweight making it very easy to assemble and set up. The sun had it charged up really quickly; so I had it up and running same day.The panel has a really long cord making it versatile.It holds a lot of juice; I have yet to come into a scenario where it wouldn’t work due to lack of power. The pump is surprisingly strong and keeps the water flowing quite nicely.For $25 I find this to be an amazing value and a great addition to any landscape upgrade. Nearly effortlessly add some pizzazz to your home while on a budget.

Bonito producto, solo que no especifica que debes adquirir un plato o base para que haga su función, además con un mínimo que tape una parte de la celda solar no funciona.Si funcionara aún con el mínimo (tamaño de un lápiz) estaría perfecto.

I was immediately surprised at the size - SMALL. It did go together easily. However, the bottom tray is too small to hold enough water - calling it a fountain is being overly generous. For users who want to keep this (I returned ours.) the "solar panel" needs bright and direct sunlight - even a shadow over it and the whole thing quits. Also, it helps if you "prime" the pump by removing the top yellow plug and putting water directly into it. Other buyers have suggested to place the whole thing in a birdbath, but you'd still need to stabilize it.It IS very lightweight. Any wind in my yard or a bird landing on one of the tiers would topple it. It DOES seem sturdy. And it WAS easy to assemble. But cons outweigh the pros for this little toy.

UPDATE...We really liked it, the sound of the water is pretty, but only lasted 3 months. Quit working, cleaned it and always kept in a deeper bowl to not run out of water. Very Sad but won't be buying again.It looks like a kids toy ,the colors, easy to assemble, no sticky tape as advertised but does to leak.So far no problems with it, does quit as soon as a shadow comes over it, recommend a large bowl for it to sit in, loses water to evaporation pretty quickly. We like the sound of the water, zero birds have come to visit it. Will plan a potty plant and bigger bowl under it for next year. The cord on the solar panel is great, very long cord we can usually move it to another sunny spot for more hours of enjoyment. Wish it had batter for night time.
