All Ryka shoes are made on a woman's last (the mold or shape of a woman's foot), and are designed and developed taking into account a women's unique fit needs. Women's feet are narrower in the heel and wider in the forefoot, women's toes need more room. Outstanding fit and exceptional comfort consistently place Ryka shoes among the highest rated in the industry. After all, if your shoes don't work out, neither will you.

Bingo! (Brown, Taupe)
First pair of Rykas, but definitely won't be my last. Really fine set of shoes. Quickie points:1) Ball of the foot area: I prefer more cushioning. A quick trip to the drug store killed that concern, via a ball-of-the-foot set of gel pads. Placed the gel pads under the insole. (May be fine as is for most though.)2) Indulging fitness walks of 3-5 miles near daily means I go through athletic shoes quickly. Despite all those shoes, these are the ONLY ones which make it *impossible* to have pain under the shoe-tie area. There's a patch of what appears to be leather, atop the tongue. When you tie the shoe, the knot situates itself directly above that patch. So, because this usual irritant is missing, no need to me to use Lock Laces on this shoe. (I've got em on just about all my other sneakers.)3) The shoe strings actually stay tied, even throughout a multi-mile walk. No double-knot, or Lock Laces, needed.4) These bad boys are not only super comfy (they cup the heels in a truly glorious fashion!), they look dang good as well.5) I have mild over-pronation tendencies. I was concerned that there might not be enough support. The support is great, even though these are the lightest shoes I own.6) Sizing: I always buy 1/2 size up from my true size, to ensure I have a thumb-width of space from toe to shoe tip. Fit exactly as desired. Conclusion: You really owe it to yourself to try these. Amazon makes it painless for returns, but I suspect you too will deem these stone cold keepers. (Purchased out of pocket; no Vine Membership involvement in this case.)

Nice shoe
I really like this Ryka shoe because of the color. Get tired of white all the time and don't like the really bright colors they have now in this style shoe.. The shoe is very light weight. I wear an 8 in shoes, but usually size up 1/2 size in Rykas. I always wear socks too. Roomy toe box, heel area is nice and snug too. Very comfortable shoe.

Best shoe for my bad feet
I have arthritis in both feet and also a painful hip. I read about this shoe in Consumer Reports and researched it a little before buying. This is my second pair which I bought a little before I needed it because I'm now worried about not being able to find it again! It is by far the most comfortable shoe I have found. I need the wide toe box and it is designed to better align a woman's hips. I used to think barefoot was the only way I could be in less pain. Now, I put these shoes on first thing in the morning because they, for me, are better than barefoot!

Fantastic!
This has to be the greatest shoe of this type that I have had for a very long time. I put this on for the first time while on vacation. Bee walked all overMackinac Island, up vet steep hills etc. all day (minimum of 6 hours) and a lot of miles. My feet did not hurt a bit! This shoe is very comfortable, fantastic fit and great support. Day two wearing my RYKA incorrect the same activities as day one along with a 10 mile bike ride.I highly recommendthis shot. I've owned about every major brand athletic shoe none have given the support and comfort that the RYKAs have. I highly recommend these shoes!

this is a really GOOD sneaker for the price
I dont wear sneakers. I never have, but I have a small child and getting around quickly is essential. So I decided to buy a pair. I actually bought a few pairs -more popular brands and Ryka which I never heard of. they were the best of the other 3. they look good. they feel good. Comfortable. I am a 9 in shoes. I bought an 8. and they fit really good. I recommend and I will probably buy another pair.

Ryka fan
I love Ryka sneakers as they seem to be the only sneaker that fits my narrow heal. I have several pair of a different style of Ryka's and I wanted to try a different style. This sneaker is okay. It is not as comfortable as my current style but it works for my workouts. If you do a high impact workout or are on your feet a lot I wouldn't recommend this sneaker but they are ok for a light - med workout. I use a Treadclimber for 30 -45 min every day and they work okay for that.

The most comfortable shoes ever
I wouldn't wish my feet on my enemies: bunions, extra-wide, flat... you name it. No wonder that I'm so picky choosing shoes. These RYKA, however, are the answer to my (almost) every prayer. They're so comfortable and provide such great support, they've become my favorite shoes for walking and hiking. They're lightweight and comfortable right out of the box. When I wear them it's like walking on clouds, I love, love, love them! What's more, for the level of comfort they provide, they're not at all bad looking, quite the contrary. My only unanswered prayer refers to a greater assortment of colors; I've never been a great fan of white shoes (seems like the 80s called and want their shoes back, lol). I wish RYKA made these shoes in other colors (like red, purple, black, blue).I'm praying they won't discontinue this model, it'd be such a pity.

I really wanted to love these shoes!
I've always liked Ryka shoes and thought these would be perfect for an upcoming walking vacation. The good news is that they are lightweight, fit true to size and very comfortable. The bad news is that the instep on the left shoe seems to have collapsed after wearing for just a few hours. The side of the shoe started to bulge out, which made another part of the instep fabric push in and rub against my foot. I've never had anything like that happen with a pair of shoes. It's either shoddy design or cheap manufacture and either way, I had to return them. It's really a shame.
