Bumkins Sleeved Bib/Baby Bib/Toddler Bib/Smock, Waterproof, Washable, Stain and Odor Resistant, 6-24 Months - Blue Owlds

I bought this bib in Aug 2017, now leaving an updated review in Nov 2020. This bib has been used for both of my children - both from an early age, through to learning to use a spoon. It has seen a lot of mess and has been through the washing machine countless times. But it is still looks good and does not smell! Many other bibs have been bought, don’t last the pace and are binned - smelly bibs are the worst!!These bibs are definitely worth buying!!

The owl pattern is really sweet and the fabric lightweight but durable. The little gutter at the bottom does catch food and having tie back fastening prevents small person from removing the bib himself. It also washes well.I would say that it is slightly on the small size though. My toddler is not overly large for his age but this did not fit him comfortably at 2y old.

We've had two of these for a couple of months and they're the best bibs we've used so far. They are small enough to fit our 8 month old well and large enough to fit for a good while longer. They have elasticated sleeves, which very usefully stops mess running along the arms. They hand and machine wash well without retaining any smell like other fabric bibs do and dry quickly. The pocket pouch is only vaguely useful as it isn't rigid, so if it catches food is more down to luck. Apart from that they're to be recommended.

Exactly what I was expecting. Good quality, easy to clean, my daughter doesn't get upset when I put it on her (she can get really fussy with clothes). On the not so down side, fits big for her and she is six months old and quite long, but I find this actually good as will last longer :)

I brought this to use for weaning to stop my son from getting covered in food. The print and sleeves are great but the pouch bit at the bottom is useless. On other makes its made of foam and folds over from the other side so that it creates a stiff lip that catches all the bits of food my son drops. However on this one, it's just made out of normal material so the pocket just sits flat against the bib and doesn't catch any food or drink. I've kept it as I think I'll use it in the future for messy play like painting but it's not really suitable for food.

Bought this as other brands have stopped putting the food catcher pouch at bottom...unfortunately this bib is not long enough to actually catch food and so doesn't work for me...my son is 18 months so may work for younger/shorter kids but at his age totally ineffective! On the plus side excellent washable/quick drying material with bonus of tie at neck instead of Velcro (which little man is very good at pulling off!) and cuffed sleeves, which is a must. If only the bib was longer and then it would be the best bib ever !!! :(

This is a good bib and much more waterproof than most. The design is also very attractive. The tie fastening is good as children find it difficult to undo themselves. However, the catcher pocket doesn't catch that much food. We used the bibs for 6 months before they started to come apart at the seams, although in fairness they were very heavily used and washed every day. We would have bought a larger size to replace if they made it as our children are now starting to grow out of the bibs anyway but it seems like the next version up has short sleeves and we really want a long sleeved bib.

I think this picture says it all. It’s essentially a backwards jacket that covers the entire front of your little one from wrists to head. There are 2 little pockets at the bottom that collect 99% of food that drops towards the lap.Easy to wash, rinse and dry, I do it with the dishes after meal time and then just hang it over a chopping board or some plates, ready for use next meal time.Vibrant colours and after many uses and subsequent washes, no signs of fading.
