ASRock B650M PG Riptide AMD Ryzen 7000 Series Processors Motherboard

I purchased a similar board from newegg and it arrived DOA. This board is great and thanks to amazon I was able to enjoy finally building my pc. Anyways the board does its job and I haven't had any issues except for one thing I learned: you have to be very careful with the gpu release lever as too much pressure in the wrong area can break it. Try using a pencil eraser and gently push the lever down. You will not hear a click or feel feedback so you have to look to see if the lever went down. Overall the mb is great I have not had any issues with wifi or bluetooth. The antennas hold their position and perform. Item was delivered in a timely fashion. Unfortunately this motherboard was not properly inspected prior to being offered for sale again. The cpu socket pins are bent or missing, in turn, making the motherboard unusable.

First, if you are building any computer with DDR4/DDR5 RAM, the first boot will always be slow as the CPU is training memory for 30-90 seconds prior to POST. I just completed a build with this motherboard. I don't have any problem with it other than the layout of the m.2 slots. The first one is gen5 and has a huge heatsink which works very well. The second is gen4 (good), located at the far bottom of the board. There it has two problems 1) No heatsink) 2) Likely no airflow. If you put a gen4 or gen5 drive there, it will almost instantly thermal throttle to the point where you can't read or write from it BUT (this is important) you won't get an error message from it. The only way to use this m.2 slot on the bottom of the board is...you MUST have a case fan within a few inches of it and blowing air directly at it or across it. Otherwise, you might think your m.2 slot is defective, as you can't use any NVME drive that you put in there. Oh, and buying an nvme drive with a heatsink is not a solution. Let me explain. I bought an acer predature NVME I intended to use as my boot drive. But it had a built-in heatsink. A good one. That would interfere with the motherboard's nvme heatsink. I didn't want to rip the heatsink off my brand new nmve, so I left the heatsink on and installed that drive in the bottom NVME slot. But with no airflow, the heatsink wasn't helping. The drive thermal throttled instantly with the built-in heatsink. My MSI drive had no factory heatsink, so I installed that under the motherboard heatsink and it's perfect there. So that is my boot drive now. Oh, and I do remember another thing I do NOT like about this board. When you go to install the CPU, you orient the CPU by matching triangle on CPU to triangle on CPU socket. But on this motherboard, there was no triangle on CPU socket. I guessed the CPU must go on so I can read the markings on the IHS. But right before I installed the CPU, I did notice a triangle on the CPU socket. It was ETCHED in one corner. But it was very lightly etched which made it almost impossible to see. If I had to guess which way to install the CPU, I would have guessed correctly. But I shouldn't have to guess!!! The CPU socket should be marked better. The RAM slots should also be marked. I knew to use number 2 and 4. And you could read the manual. But it should be obvious at quick glance which RAM slots to use. It is not. Another thing that will confuse some people is that it has 8-pin and 4-pin CPU connectors. If you are unsure, just connect the 8-pin CPU power connector and do not connect the 4-pin. But oddly, this is not explained....not even in the manual?

Something I would recommend to a friend sense it works great for me!

This board has lots of features and looks very good, but I've been having issues with my hard drives staying connected. It's really annoying and I wouldn't expect to be having issues with a board this expensive. Also the software for rgb controll is super old but not the end of the world.

An actual pretty decent and stable budget board. Has everything you want, and works like a charm. (If using external sound card like you should) Memory training takes a whilebut after that you're golden.

Pessima esperienza con il venditore AGEMCZ, ho ordinato un prodotto nuovo e mi è arrivato un prodotto usato in quanto i Pin del Socket risultavano piegati e quindi rendendo inutilizzabile il prodotto. Ho chiesto la sostituzione, il reso e il rimborso, ma l' unica cosa che mi hanno detto era di doverlo mandare in assistenza tramite loro, cosi ho rispedito l' oggetto a loro. Dopo una settimana l' assistenza mi comunica che non è possibile riparare il prodotto in quanto manomesso. Risultato: AGEMCZ mi rimanda il prodotto difettoso senza concedermi sostituzione, reso e rimborso. NON COMPRATE DAL VENDITORE AGEMCZ
