Recommended by the nurse who removed my stitches two weeks after my foot operation. I was bemoaning the fact that a strip wash just wasn’t the same as a good shower. A Bath would be impossible!! So glad I bit the bullet and ordered one!! Six weeks after the op I would have been going mad without this! It was the perfect bit of kit! Not a drop of water got in and I used it daily once it arrived. Can thoroughly recommend. Well worth the money.

Bought for a friend who has just had an ingrown toenail permanently removed and she's very pleased with it. She says it's easy to put on and doesnt let any water in, protecting her toe very well. Was meant for use in a holiday pool initially but works in shower & bath just as well.

I ordered this the evening I came home after surgery and it arrived the following morning. Very efficient. The limbo is easy to get on and it fits around my ankle giving a perfect seal to protect the bandage from water. I used it in the shower. It was easy to remove and my bandages remained dry. A very good product.

Worth every penny!

I’ve recently had surgery on a toe, so had a dressing / stitches I needed to protect. The morning of the operation, I asked the surgeon about showering - and he advised to get a Limbo. I measured my ankle, and ordered one… which arrived next day (Sunday - thanks Amazon!) My first shower, I was a bit sceptical. The gasket round the ankle seemed tight, but I wasn’t convinced. I wrapped my toes in a zip lock bag, and taped it tightly. I then put some kitchen roll inside the Limbo so I could see if water got in. Limbo on top, and into the shower. I didn’t make any effort to ‘shield’ my foot from the water - just had a shower as normal. When I got out, I dried the Limbo thoroughly and removed it. To my surprise, the kitchen roll was all bone dry, and so was my zip lock bag. Not a single drop had got through the Limbo’s gasket. Subsequent showers were just with the Limbo and nothing else. My dressing was light brown ‘elastoplast’ type material, so would be obvious if it was wet as the colour would change. I never had a single drop of water leak through… and all my showers were as normal - not protecting the area. I did notice cheaper similar looking alternatives out there when ordering. My surgeon told me to get a Limbo, so that’s what I did. Not sure if the £20 Limbo is any better than the £14 other brand… but the Limbo definitely works!

I had extreme difficulty getting it over my heal but it worked very well when I had succeeded and kept my foot absolutely dry

This item was recommended to my husband by healthcare professionals to protect the bandaging on his foot, and has worked as promised, but only been used once so far. It seems relatively easy to get on and off and the instructions were clear so very happy with purchase.

Ich bin am 6.08 18 am Hallux operiert worden , und muss für zwei Wochen einen Verband tragen der nicht runtergemacht werden darf. Dafür habe ich mir diesen Dusch und Badeschutz gekauft. Was soll ich sagen ich bin begeistert . Der Duschschutz ist absolut dicht. Zum anziehen muss man das Gummiteil umgedreht anlegen , dann kann man den Schuh problemlos über den Verband anziehen. Hat man den Fuß in der Schutzhülle wird der Gummiring wieder zurück gestülpt und eng an der Wade angelegt. Damit ist alles dicht. Ich habe inzwischen schon mehrmals damit geduscht und der Verband ist trocken wie eh und je. Ich kann dieses Teil nur jedem ans Herz legen der am Fuß operiert wird

Ich habe schon verschiedene Limboprodukte verwendet und kann sie wärmstens empfehlen. Sehr robuste und langlebige Verarbeitung. Das wichtigste, die Produkte sind dank Silikonbund absolut wasserdicht, was man bei einer Plastiktüte nicht hat auch nicht mit Gummi drumrum. Wer lange auf Gips, Verband, etc. angewiesen ist kann unbedenklich eine Dusche oder Vollbad geniessen. Der Preis ist absolut in Ordnung bei sehr hoher Langlebigkeit des Produktes.

Basta una busta di plastica con un po' di scotch. 30 euro sono oltremodo esagerati per sta cosa.
