Q: Planning to order the 21 x 20 shelf. My cabinet depth is 23-1/2" but the diagram shows 24" is needed. Why is 24" needed on a 21" shelf?

According to the depth requirements only 22” is the minimum requirement. I was concerned as well since I had 23.5” depth.

Q: Installations directions can I download?

Yes. You can also find a you tube video. Don't really need. Very easy to install. Put together frame fit in cabinet and screw frame to base of cabinet. Then add shelves.

Q: What is the distance from the frontmost point to the back of the rear vertical support? (Needs to fit around 11" high shelf).

I'm not sure I understand where the 11" high shelf fits in. However the measurement from the front to the back of the rear vertical support on mine is 15" and all the way to the back of the tray/shelf is 21". Then it needs a small clearance at the back for the bracket holding it to the back of the cabinet. I have 3" here (the bracket is adjustable) but I'd say you need 1/4 to 1/2 and inch on top of the 21". The unit in 15 1/2" tall but if you put it in a space that short the top basket would be a drawer. the base to the bottom of the top basket is just over 12 1/2" if you were thinking of running you shelf through the middle between the baskets.

Q: If I want to install 2 of these will they fit with a 30" opening?

They should fit. I bought an 11 inch wide one and installed it in a cabinet with a 11 1/2 inch opening. The width of the two must be less than the opening. Also, there must some spacing between the two in order to be able to pull each one out. If you are ordering two 14 inch wide organizers, then you have 2 inches extra space.
