I was very pleased with this mat. It is cushy and comfortable and I love how many different colors you can select from!I wish it came with something to keep it rolled up/some kind of strap to transport it around, but I don't take it outside of my apartment enough for that to really be an issue.As for the slipping issue that I've seen in some reviews, I found it to be sticky enough for me. Granted, I have sweaty palms, so I always have a little bit of an issue with that, but when I was cool enough to not sweat it held up just fine. I also need a lot of help sticking because I am not greatly flexible [hence, why I am trying to do more yoga], so one could say that I need a little extra help with grip so I can hold some of the poses.Also on an ending note, my mat did not have an odor when I opened it that I noticed.

Pew! If you have a garage to air it out in I'd definitely recommend it. Alas, I am garage-less, so must deal with the stench inside my apartment. It's a nice thick mat for those who have an injury and need a little more padding than a typical yoga mat. It has a good texture and is easy to grip with your toes, and doesn't really weigh that much more than a typical mat. It also doesn't have that weird stickiness to it that Gaiam mats have - I hate it when your mat sticks to your foot when you're trying to pose!

The jury is still out. I bought this for my wife but so far she hasn't bothered with it. If I tried it they would need to hire a crane to get me up off the floor. Definitely for the more flexible among us.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the mat. It has a great texture, and doesn't feel "yucky" or sticky like some mats can feel. I ordered the purple one, and haven't noticed a smell like some others have noted. I wish it was a TAD thicker, but I think it's overall a good quality mat.

I read a lot of the reviews before purchasing this yoga mat. I washed it off and let it air dry as soon as I got it and have had no problem with smell or it being slippery. It provides plenty of cushion. I leave it loosely rolled up and standing right inside my closet when I am not using it. I would recommend this yoga mat especially if you are just trying yoga out before you invest in a more expensive mat.

My last yoga mat lasted me over 10 years using it 2-5 times per week. I was looking for the same one that's long and thick because my home practice is on hardwood floors and my knees are boney when I have to plant them into the mat. This mat is perfect-O and affordable. I bought the lavender color for healing.

I bought two of these for my tiny apartment to use as fatigue mats, and to bring a little color in. For what I paid I find it hard to complain. The only thing is that the mats don't lay down very flat, even after I left it unrolled for about a week. It's also cut askew a little so the grid pattern on the material isn't perfectly straight. But for the price, it really was a good buy.

I have two of these now, in the pink/purple color and teal. I had to buy another because when we only had one, my fiancé and I would fight over who got to use this one! It’s so much thicker and comfier than other mats, but not anymore expensive!
