Comfortable, Stay Put, and Block Noise Brilliantly
These are by far the most comfortable earplugs I’ve used. The slim design fits my ears really well, they stay in place throughout the night, and they do an excellent job of muffling sound without being uncomfortable. They’re perfect for sleeping and have made a huge difference in blocking out noisy neighbours and traffic outside. The large tub is great value for money and should last a long time. I usually reuse each pair for a couple of days before replacing them once they become dirty or have built up earwax. Overall, a fantastic product that I use regularly and would happily recommend to anyone looking for comfortable, effective earplugs.

Mack's Slim Fit - Most comfortable earplugs
I need earplugs for motorcycling wind noise protection. I have tried most designs such as Alpine, EarPeace, Hears, E-A-R Soft yellow foam, 3M yellow and orange foam, Ohropax mouldable wax plugs. The difficulty is finding something that suppresses enough noise to prevent long term hearing damage and tinnitus, whilst still remaining comfortable. In my experience whilst motorcycling, the expensive and hyped Alpine/EarPeace/Hears types do not give me enough noise protection and leave my head 'ringing' and flare up the tinnitus, which is normally only slight and barely noticeable. All the squidgy foam plugs do successfully supress the noise but I find that after a couple of hours my ears feel physically irritated and I have to remove them and give my ear canals a rest. The mechanical pressure of the expanded foam plug causes the irritation. So I bought Mack's Slim Fit soft foam Earplugs for small or sensitive ear canals. Wow! These cause no irritation for me and noise suppression is every bit as good as any of the other foam earplugs, regardless of the SRN rating. I wore them for six hours yesterday and experienced tranquillity without any irritation. My only advice if you try Mack's Slim Fit is to be careful to leave a tiny bit of foam protruding from you ears, otherwise they can go too far into the ear canal and consequently might be difficult to remove. Otherwise a total winner. 100% recommended.

Very good earplugs for small ear canals
I used to sleep in the standard size of ultra-soft plugs from the same brand. Here’s what I think. Apologies in advance in case this review, due to its comparison to other earplugs I didn’t like, was automatically sorted by the AI summary bot into a negative pile — please beware that that is not true as these purple earplugs are a good start, if not far better for small-ear-folks like me. Due to my small ear canal, the earplugs on the left were putting too much pressure on my ear. They, like all standard-size earplugs, would: 1) fall out; 2) put so much pressure on my ear canal that I started hearing pulsations or ringing, often so bad that I had to take them out at the cost of a good night’s sleep; 3) made it extremely uncomfotrable to turn my head on the pillow. As a side-sleeper, I simply cannot relax lying on my back or chest, so wearing earplugs that go all the way into the ear canal, allowing for my head to turn on its side, is a matter of life and excessive consumption of caffeine. To those who are interested what my background noise landscape is like: one of the major UK highways with a crossing in front of my window (so much for it being double-glazed); heavy trucks regularly falling into a pothole on the said crossing; cars and bikes with removed mufflers; rhapsodies on a Friday-Saturday pub night; house noises such as door slamming, stomping above my bedroom at 3-4 am, water pipes hammering whenever someone opens a tap or runs a laundry machine. Hope that helps. In any case, previous earplugs were simply too much for my ears. The slim fit ones are just as easy to use, but fit much more comfrotably in my ears, even though the size difference is quite little as shown in photos. It’s still not a perfect fit and I can feel them at night when I turn my head, but I’m a relatively new person to wearing earplugs. And most importantly, the sensation is nowhere near to being painful. It might be a matter of habit, years of wear experience, personal sensitivity etc… What I noticed with both models, however, is that even with a rather uncomfrotable fit of the standard-size plugs, I woke up in a refreshed state—unless they fell out of course. I can also attest that earplugs in general, at least for me, may make it a bit weird trying to fall asleep, but when I wake up on my own instead of being jolted awake by a random external noise, my delight is immesuarable. It’s the kind of nirvana that only peope who live in a noisy place will udnerstand. It’s not at the point where I’d stop hating on Mondays, but at least now we have a truce. You might also have noticed that different fits of earplugs have different sound cancellation capacity, up to 33 dB and 33 dB. Is there any significant difference in practice? I wouldn’t say so; I think now that the sound cancellation finally met the comfort, I wouldn’t notice as I’m not at all sensitive to soft or suppressed sounds, which are kind of far away. It’s harsh and intermittent noises that really bother me. However, the fit and therefore sound cancellation capabilites is ultimatey down to the unique anatomy of your ear canal. It might be not only smaller but also shorter than most ear plugs can offer, therefore causing even slim fits to fall out. I’d recommend not to waste any more money on trial-and-errors if that always results in error, and consider custom-made earplugs. These slim fits never fell out of my ears. I can’t speak to their durability because I bin a pair every morning due to bad experiences with ear infections from multi-use ear plugs in the past. Last word on the color choice: I like it. I personally associate purple with relaxation and zen, lavender, that sort of thing. I don’t usually write reviews this long, but seeing how ridiculously difficult it is to find a good pair of plugs for a seemingly common ear size, decided to unleash my inner Shakespeare for this one. Hope some of it helped you decide.

Definitely worth it!
These are amazing! Normal earplugs are too big for my ears and hurt, but these fit perfectly without causing any pain. They block out majority of noises, enough to be able to stay asleep. My sleep has gotten so much better with these 👌 easy to use and definitely worth the money!

Truly amazing for those of us with tiny ears
Absolutely fantastic for my tiny ears, and no irritation whatsoever, they block out all noise. I have a portable AC unit in my bedroom it’s soooo noisy, these earplugs block out that noise, and I stay cool all night, I’m so happy with these I could kiss the person who suggested making them for small ears with tiny ear canals.

a must
These earplugs are great!. They fit snugly in my ears, and my sleep quality has improved so much. They block out noise effectively, so I no longer wake up multiple times during the night because of snoring. They’re also reasonably priced, and each pair lasts around 2–4 days before needing to be replaced.

Will buy again
Perfect for anyone who struggles with normal size plugs. They're soft, reduce the noise, they stay where they're put. Colour does not matter but it's fun :)

Not like the small 10 pack
I bought a 10 pack and they were great - so I ordered a 50 pair pot - these are terrible, smaller and don't block noise. They feel like they could disappear into my ear. A total waste of £20. I wondered if the 10 pack might be made in a different factory - so I risked it and order a small box again, but no these are also different. Clearly the manufacturing has changed. Waste of time and money!

Best ear plug for small ear canals
These are much better than the Hearos Manos earplugs. They are able to squish down smaller inside of a smaller ear canal and they are much more comfortable to wear especially if you have to wear them 24/7. I highly recommend these to anyone who is having issues with earplugs that are too large for their ear canals and that cause pain because it's pressing up against the ear canal or the skin on the outer ear. These earplugs are able to go deeper inside of the ear canal but they are still able to be removed easily. The material is a lot softer and it's a lot squishier so it's able to be reduced in size and it doesn't swell up as much as the other ear plugs do so it doesn't cause as much pressure inside the ear canal as most earplugs do. I have tried the other brand that is supposedly made for small ear canals but it doesn't work as well. That brand is made by Hearos and their smallest earplug is nanos. They are actually too large for me. So these are better for people who are dealing with issues with ear plugs that are too large for their ear canals. It's also very good for quieting and echo inside of your ear if that is what you were dealing with because that is the reason why I have purchased them. They function very well and they stay inside of your ear for as long as you need them to stay in. I will continue to purchase these and will not try any other brand. These are well worth the price and I'm glad that I started with a smaller package because now I know that these are the ones that I will continue to use for as Long as I need to use them.
