No. POND'S® uses science, not animals to ensure that our products are safe, and we don't believe that animal testing is necessary to assure safety. **Q: I have really dry and sore skin under and around my eyes , where I can’t put makeup on it . Would this be good ?** A: Would not recommend to use it as yet until your skin is repaired. Try using petroleum jelly under your eyes at night to re-hydrate them. Then give the ponds cream a try! **Q: Is this really fragrance free? The description for the ordinary variant says its fragrance free but has an unpleasant rose smell which I don’t like.** A: I wouldn't say it's fragrance free. I remember my mother using this many many years ago (1980s) and it's always smelt the same to me so reminds me of her, I love it. It’s quite a thick and rich cream, absorbs easily and leaves skin feeling refreshed and softened. I think it would suit more mature skin as it is a bit greasy on the face however it could suit all skin types if using on your body for dry skin patches, elbows, etc. it has got a fairly strong perfumed smell which some may find a bit off putting but I find it great after a shower or after shaving.
