Wow this is a must for some nostalgic memories of shoulder pads.Great set to bring back them memories

Loved this when it first aired on tv and am so looking forward to watching the whole series once more. Beautifully presented and quick delivery too. Many thanksUpdate : 10th January 2018 : I'm now wondering if anyone has noticed how much has been cut from these discs? We watched Series 1 which was a bit heavy and rather boring. Series 2 began with Blake having been arrested for the murder of Stephen's boyfriend. We looked at each other and wondered when that had happened. The trial was cut to ribbons and when it came to the episode "The Verdict" there was no verdict. We had to watch following episodes to try to work out what had actually gone on. Kristle was pregnant and Alexis had moved in?? who, when, how???I paid almost £40 for this set and, although my husband continues to watch it because he was working abroad and didn't see it when it was on tv, I just cannot bear to watch it. I am so very upset about the way this has been totally ruined for anyone who remembers the original storylines.

In times like this and to be honest the lack of fun on TV right now we thought we would dig up the old favourites and instead of watching dreary depressing tv we flicked this on and loved every minute . Ok it’s out of date doesn’t meet some peoples views and is very camo but boy the fun we had .. dare you try it

Too early to write a complete review of this as I have only seen 6 episodes from this box set ( though I did watch about 30 episodes back in the 1980s when I was too ‘busy’ with my first girlfriend to devote my viewing time to the whole series )Really really enjoying it. Its sparky dialogue, twisty storylines, charismatic actors, plush settings, and cliffhanger episode endings make this a ‘Must See’ for me.And this is even BEFORE Joan Collins made her entrance. I’m guessing it gets even better when she does !

I’ve just started with season 5 and when you watch it like this instead of an episode each week as it was in the 80s you begin to notice how each week was practically the same. For instance Alexis has a glass of champagne in almost every scene, or brandy. They walk-in a room and immediately pour a drink. And don’t get me started on the food. If the people in the show were real and not actors in a soap opera they would starve. Enough food goes to waste that would feed a small country. The sideboard is groaning with it. Then a character walks in ‘only a coffee today, ime not hungry’. Then they don’t even drink the coffee. They talk endlessly in front of plates of food. Untouched. Once in awhile someone will put a small morsel of food in their mouth. But it’s mostly drink. This was at the time a very camp series thanks to Joan Collins great performance as Alexis. And after all I have said it’s still great.

I’m obsessed with dynasty at the moment and love the dvds.

I bought this for my wife for Christmas thinking it would be nostalgic for her childhood, but wasn't totally sure she would watch it all. After first putting it on, my whole family is hooked! It is extremely easy and fun to watch with simple plots, luxury and fashions that may have seemed naff a few years after it came out nearly 40 years on, look great. I love the fact that they are ALWAYS drinking and the women were strong without the modern day rubbish of ramming it down your throat. Men were men and the women were glad of it. Thanks for making gloomy January much more enjoyable.

As an impromptu present for my wife, I was unsure because she had said she used to watch Dynasty as a youngster. She loves it! I have watched a few episodes with her and have to admit, it is glitzy and glamorous, so I can see the attraction for her.

Excellente série, qu'il fait bon revoir après tant d'années, toujours aussi bon

J’ai commandé cette intégrale lors du Black Friday 2022. J’ai payé 38,99 €. Très bon prix. J’ai regardé toute la série. Aucun problème sur les dvd. Cette série me rappelle ma jeunesse. On voyait un épisode par semaine à la télévision ! Avec les dvd, on ne loupe aucun épisode. La saison 9 est sans plus, mais ce n’est pas grave. Les acteurs/actrices sont vraiment bien.

Cofanetto sontuoso e ricco di DVD, con tutte le serie complete. Peccato che manchino i due episodi finali, separati però dalla serie "classica". Per gli estimatori di Dyansty è una chicca da non perdere!

Magnifica calidad de imagen, me a gustado mucho todas las temporadas, y sobre todo los actores que han echo posible que Dinastia sea grande en todos los aspectos, deberían de doblarla al castellano por que esta en ingles pero es maravillosa
