Black Antique Victorian Scroll Door Handles on Shaped Backplate Lever Lock

Have these on all my doors. Great quality and price. They look lovely.

I bought these handles to replace some on my workshop and they were easy to fit and look good too. The only gripe is the coating on the black screws comes off when you tighten them which spoils the look a little but not too fussed for an outbuilding but would be where a better finish was needed.

Looks amazing and feels really sturdy, my only frustration when installing it was the little metal bar needed cutting shorter to be able to screw the other side of the handle to the door and there was a big gap, luckily I had a axe saw in the garage and took me a while to get through the metal but dont let this put you off my door could be thinner than others, it really does look great on my newly painted yellow door, I bought an ERA lock to go with it and it fits very well, would definitely buy again.

I’m a joiner of 50 years and I have fitted a lot worse for a lot more.How long they will last?Overall I was happy and the customer was happy with looks, quality and cost.

The handles look good and appear well made, but as others have commented the screws are soft and easily burred and the spindle too long for a 40mm door.

I was in a rush to order this as my joiner had a cancellation to fit me in to fit new front door, I was so surprised at the quality for the brass, looks good and so sturdy. The joiner asked where I got it and ordered some for his front door. Well worth it!!!!!

This door handle is great but be aware that you may find the spindle is too long. If you have a hack saw, and a lot of stamina to cut a bit off if necessary, then go ahead and buy it and put in the time! I had to take maybe just under a centimetre off the length, but it was worth it and it looks great!!4 stars given only because I had to fish out my hacksaw…. ;)
