The last time I moved, I ended up taping the lids on with packing tape on some of them, and on others used the packing cellophane rolls. Both ways worked well, but was annoying when it came time to unpack them, having to cut or peel off the tape, or have all the cellophane waste.These bands fit perfectly on the tubs, lengthwise. They were too big to fit widthwise, and the bands were too tight when tried to wrap them around twice widthwise, and made the lid bend up.Also used these to secure a TV in its original box. It's the kind of box where it slides up and off of the TV, so when you try and pick up the box, unless you're picking it up from the very bottom only, the box starts sliding off rhe TV. These rubber bands fit perfectly over each end of the 55" TV box, and also added a nice non-skid element. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy *by B***R on August 10, 2024* I love these cargo bands. They are high quality. I wish I could get some shorter ones also.
