Fifteen years experience, not one failure
I used Loos&Co wire and crimp sleeves for years as a sailmaker. I bought these to make new standing rigging for a boat. (Stainless steel wires that hold up the mast)I wouldn't trust the "architectural" components for that job. If a failure or defect can leave you in a potentially life threatening situation, buy the best components and read the directions.

Does exactly what it was designed for.
Purchased these along with the right sized cable and crimp tool to anchor down some furniture. These were properly sized and crimped perfectly. Now the furniture stays where it should. I would purchase these again.

I used it for standing rigging on a sailboat
Replaced topping lift off my Catalina 22's aft stay. Trick is to use a Dremel tool with thin cutoff wheel to create a slot by the dimple in the middle and open it with a screwdriver. Did that with two pieces. Removed the old crimp with a thick cutoff wheel by carefully cutting between the two wires. Caution: the old crimp gets hot enough to brand your skin (ask me how I know). Put the two new pieces facing opposite directions and recrimp the topping lift. Supports my body weight on the boom so its a robust fix.

Does the job
Used these for crimping wire rope supports for a greenhouse. From what I understand, zinc plated copper is used for stainless steel wire. Galvanized wire uses a different type of sleeve. I used these with stainless wire, and they've been out in the weather for over a month with no sign of corrosion or "wear".

They Hold Fast!
Great for making snares and mending barb wire fences, get the crimper that mounts on your workbench as well as a mobile one. The mobile type are difficult to use in the field, but the workbench mounted one is a breeze.

Perfect for lines on my sailboat
I'm no expert on copper crimps, but I know these worked perfectly for both 1x19 and 7x19 1/8" cable. Perfect for lines on my sailboat.

Works as advertised
Really like these crimps for securing cables. They crimp easily and didn't find a single defect in the batch. So far they hold up well outside with no really issue with weathering.
