Why can you not use this product on natural gray hair?

I use this on my naturally grey hair, it is fantastic and has done more for the yellow than purple has done in years. I bought it at the suggestion of friends with gray hair! Love this stuff

My hair is silver white. Most purple shampoos make my hair a dull grey. Will this shampoo make my hair a bright shiny silver white?

How does this work for dark brown or black hair?

This is for Icy Blonde only won’t work on dark hair, It just keeps the blonde lighter and takes the brassy and golden tones out

How often do I need to use? Once a week?

My hairdresser advised me to use it no more than every other shampoo. So, you use your regular shampoo and then the next time you can use Milkshake. To much highlighting dries the hair is what she told me. Good luck
