Brother DK-22205 Label Roll, Continuous Length Paper, Black on White, Single Label Roll, 62mm (W) x 30.48M (L), Brother Genuine Supplies

I bought this device hoping to connect to an iMac, drivers are not supported, attempted to connect to Windows 10, still unable to connect the device. Checked USB cables etc. but nothing.... Not a good investment at all.

Good quality use this for my business however I’ve marked it down due to price. I paid just under£6 in January went to reorder and it’s increased to over £15 so will order from elsewhere this time.

The OEM rolls are high quality but quite pricy per metre.

Bought the genuine Brother roll as Iv previously found that "compatible" printing products, whilst normally slightly cheaper, sometimes cause more hassle than good and aren't as high quality. Either way got this roll for £12.93 posted, I use these mainly for address labels and print at 62 x 29 mm, this size offers plenty of room for a full address and is still easily readable. At this size from this roll I would get just over 1000 labels, this works out at around 1 p per label. Overall I found this to be a cheaper option than the pre-made address labels and also allows printing of various size labels for other applications making it more versatile.

they do what it says on the tin

Printer manufacturers make more money from consumables than their printers but end up losing profit to 3rd parties that offer far better value for perfectly adequate quality. Don't think there were alternatives when I bought this Brother version of lables. The consumer wins out as the original printer is cheaper as is the alternative labels.

I made the mistake of buying cheap when I needed a new roll of labels. The first batch worked fine but the second batch suddenly stopped working as the registration marks on the rear of the backing sheet were not dark enough to register on the sensor. I wish I had just bought the genuine ones to start of with as I am more out of pocket having bought some cheap ones first! Definitely worth the price hike over compatibles. The adhesive is also much stronger than compatible rolls so they are a bit harder to peel off the backing sheet but are much more likely to stay put once you have stuck the label onto your desired object!

Works well. Labels are great for shipping labels. You can also make custom stickers if you want to play with the software. These labels leave residue when removing so dont use it as a bumper sticker. For basic shipping needs its perfect.

It was a genuine Brother ,DK label. I have used cheap non-Brother DK labels as well. While cheap, the print will fade in 6 months and the paper becomes yellow. Not with original Brother, the print resolution is better, darker and will stay without fading for years. For duarbility and quality is a priority, go for genuine label . If not, go for cheap, non Brother, labels
