Optimum Men Hawkley Cycling Stowaway Jacket

Love this jacket but watch out on sizing. I am 6ft with a normal build, 15 inch neck and 33 inch waste, not big, not thin. I needed an extra large size as large and medium were too small. Sizing aside this jacket is really nice looking and seems very good quality. Whatever size you go for this seems to be a naturally figure hugging fit which I wanted as I dont like big baggy/saggy tops especially when Im out on the bike, this like all good quality bike jackets is snug but not skin tight. It looks and fits that well I actually wear mine quite alot of the time regardless of whether im on the bike. Goes well with jeans etc so all in all a great jacket at a great price but my advice is order a size that is 1-2 times bigger than what you would normally go for.

Bought a 2XL as I wanted it as a visually bright jacket over my dark work clothes for the daily commute through town. Unfortunately it seems 2XL is too small for my purposes, and I'm usually an XL.If you want it for a racing style over-jacket (which I am assuming it's designed for) then your usual size will probably be okay over a thin layer or two.I gave it to my partner who is usually M, it looks fine on her.No complaints about the price, I believe it is wind proof but cannot vouch for how water proof it would be in a good downpour.If you want it to wear over everyday clothes I would buy two sizes bigger, but your mileage may vary.

Bought this for a 4 day charity cycle to help keep the usual British weather off. While it's great for the odd light shower it didn't stand up to the torrential rain we experienced on day 2, but in all honesty for the price I didn't expect it to. If you're looking for something shower/light rain proof this is for you. For prolonged exposure to rain I'd look at spending a little more.

Its light, compact and easy to carry around while cycling. Its definitely not going to keep you dry but perfect to keep the bite off on a windy ride. If your not sure if you need a jacket or not on a ride then stick this in your pocket, if you don't need it then it didn't take much space. On the other hand if your heading out knowing its going to be a very cold/wet day then you probably want something heavier.

It's hard to write anything positive about this jacket because:* It's not protecting against wind or even breeze* But at the same time will let you sweat for no reason,* Blunt colour, should be much vivid for better visibility,* XL size is too short, at least 2-3 inches,* Poorly designed, excess fabric in there front when to cycling bent forward.I would not recommend expressly for this price is not nice at all.

For just £4 for the red version this is an absolute steal. Sure theres a few unfinished threads but it looks surprisingly good on. Ive no idea how good it is in the rain but I just wanted a cheap top that can be tucked in my jersey pocket on a warmish day. As for sizing I keep reading reviews on Amazon about needing to order the next size up. I think people need to be more honest with them selves about thier true size. Im a medium ordered a large, and it us just that on me but not so much that I need to send it back.Overall a good buy at the price

This jacket is not expensive but based on the description and photos you'd still expect it to be more substantial than a throwaway theme-park poncho. It's not. I would have ripped this within a week had I kept it.I didn't keep it though because the sizing is also incorrect. I ordered an XL and what came was certainly labelled up as na XL but was more of a medium. My arms didn't fit in the sleeves and I couldn't even do the zip up!

Nice jacket - excellent value when bought as add-on item. Useful as an extra layer for warmth - especially on your arms, without being too warm. Extremely light weight so no bother to carry just in case you need it. Haven't tested extensively in wet weather, but I expect it to keep me dry in light rain but probably not in heavy rain. No problems with the zip as yet. Overall quality is good - highly recommended at the price.

Giacca da ciclismo da usare per ripararsi dal vento e dall'aria più fredda, specialmente quando si percorre una lunga discesa ad una certa velocità. Leggera e traspirante, non fa assolutamente sudare, si ripiega facilmente per essere messa in una tasca posteriore della maglia da ciclismo senza dare fastidio. Ben realizzata, con buone cuciture e una bella cerniera scorrevole. Il prezzo è davvero buono vista la qualità generale.

L'indicazione di taglia è corretta, io solitamente indosso M, ma ho preso una taglia in più per sfruttare un'offerta imperdibile, consapevole che sarebbe stato un po' largo, e tutto sommato va bene comunque.Funzionalità davvero ottima, non passa un filo d'aria, mi sono trovato anche sotto pioggia leggera senza bagnarmi. Si ripiega facilmente e diventa molto piccolo, sta tranquillamente in una tasca posteriore.Per me prodotto ok.

Articolo consegnato prima della data di consegna prevista, ottima giacca antivento leggera ma fa il suo lavoro. Ha una tasca interna dove si può ripiegare, occupa veramente pochissimo spazio. Ho acquistato una taglia M sono alto 168 cm per 70 kg perfetta. Secondo me ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo la consiglio.

arrivato nei tempi stabiliti, indossata in una giornata di sole ma con temperature piuttosto basse e si è comportata decorosamente non lascia passare aria, fa bene il proprio lavoro ed in oltre per i periodi che può servire sporadicamente, è molto leggera e si arrotola in pochissimo spazio.Ottimo acquisto

Ottimo antivento provato anche con una leggera pioggiarellina ha tenuto la maglia asciutta... Non ho dato 5 stelle perché è un po largo sulle spalle non per la taglia ma per la sua forma e svolazza un po ma nel compenso un buon prodotto...

buon giubbotto, leggerissimo ma coprente quanto basta per la bella stagione, il colore corrisponde alla foto e la misura è corretta

si piega bene e si tiene nella tasca posteriore della maglia da bici senza problemi....testato con il vento va bene, ancora non saprei con la pioggia perchè qua ha smesso proprio di piovere!!

Giacca leggerissima munita anche di piccola sacca interna per mettervi la giacca.Ottima per bici e per corsa. Non ancora provata con la pioggia. Ideale per fine primavera/estate

La giacca è fatta bene nelle rifiniture, protegge dal vento e impermeabile alla pioggia. Per il prezzo che costa è valida e la consiglio.

Devo dire veramente che x quello che costa è davvero buono , leggerissimo si racchiude in un pugno della mano.

Consegna puntuale, la giacca svolge un ottimo lavoro come windstopper, anche impermeabile, la sto usando continuamente, purtroppo non ha tasche dietro. Soddisfatto.

Espleta la sua funzione egregiamente e quando non serve si conserva nel taschino all'interno della stessa giacca. Insomma quando un prodotto è buono e ha un buon prezzo, c'è poco da dire tranne che è OK.
