Unfortunately mid race the bottle launched itself into oblivion but luckily for me it was caught on camera. I sent an email to the PD team explaining the issue and they swiftly dispatched another HC bottle, as well as the team congratulating me on my race finish! Great team, great product. Would wholesomely recommend to anyone.
Review: Good product - Used this for Ironman UK 2014 found it very useful. The bottle can be changed to a standard bottle and my Garmin 500 sitted well just behind the bottle. I had to be careful with the straw as it was set a bit too high and if you get really low if you go over some bumps you can end up stabbing yourself with the straw. Good product easily adjustable. Easily drop in energy tabs in the top.

**Q: how much does it hold I can't find the size of the drink container Thanks**
A: Hi it holds about the same as a general large drinks bottle 750ml

**Q: How easy is it to drink from the straw?  does it have a non-return valve fitted.  worried how much air i have to suck before i get a drink. thanks.**
A: If you're buying this for a triathlon or cycle race, get it! I did an ironman with one of these and have not taken it off my bike since. Its very easy to drink from it as its twice as wide as a normal straw (maybe 3 times wider) The straw plastic is quite thick so it stands up all the time (I was worried it would flail about) Really the only modification I made was cutting one end at 45 degrees otherwise it sits flat at the bottom of the bottle restricting the waters from being sucked up through the straw. That being said, you can adjust the height of the straw as the bit where the straw goes in the bottle is ever so slightly smaller and holds the straw in place.

**Q: Does this come with a bridge to hold the top part of the mount together? I broke my mount today and have lost the bridge…**
A: there is a clip that goes across the top of the bottle when it is mounted in the holder

Completed Ironman 70.3 Edinburgh with this HC system. Unfortunately mid race the bottle launched itself into oblivion but luckily for me it was caught on camera. I sent an email to the PD team explaining the issue and they swiftly dispatched another HC bottle, as well as the team congratulating me on my race finish! Great team, great product. Used this for Ironman UK 2014 found it very useful. The bottle can be changed to a standard bottle and my Garmin 500 sitted well just behind the bottle. Great way of getting your fluids in on the bike when aero bars are fitted. My original aerobars were too narrow at first but then I figured a non-standard way of attaching them, which now I have them fitted to my TT bike actually felt more secure. The straw is very stiff and I stabbed my face first time I used it. But before cutting it down, measure and remeasure. You might take off too much. I did actually take too much off and when buying an mother one found the new one less stiff.
