PME Square Board & Cake Box 9" / 22 cm, Thick Base 11 mm, Cardboard, White, 9-inch

For a birthday party we pulled out the big 12" cake pan, and this board&box set was perfect for transporting it across London. We were quite careful with the cutting (i.e., we didn't press hard into the board) and it's wiped nice & clean ready to be used again. It's definitely nice that this won't be a throwaway purchase, though I still feel it's a lot to pay.Everything about this was sturdy. The board is thick and definitely not going to bend, and the box is also made of heavy-weight cardboard, not the flimsy stuff you often find if buying small cakes from shops.It's worth being cautious if you're scaling your cake in all directions. For us the cake was a very wide round one, but it didn't go soaring up in height. We had loads of clearance at the top, but I can imagine if you start going for many layers or elaborate toppings, you might quickly find the box doesn't close any more.All-in-all, it did exactly what we needed.

I brought this to store a cake that I was making in, the board was super sturdy and thick so had no problems with the weight of the cake. However the only downside is the sides didn’t go high enough to completely enclose the cake otherwise it would’ve been the most perfect box for transporting the cake from a to b.

I've used a lot of cake drums and boxes in my time as a Baker but these are by far the best quality I have used. The drums design itself is brilliant and also wipe clean with no residue left behind, the box is quite thick which is perfect to hold itself up around the cakes. Absolutely investing in bulk.

A good quality board and box. Perfect for what I needed and fast delivery. Based on my usual supplier, this box and board costed a bit more than I'd usually spend, but overall I was happy with the price for how fast it was delivered.

Nicely packed a two tier 6 and 8 inch cake-square. There were fondant figures on the top and didn't get squashed. The cake board was sturdy and able to stick stickers on easily.

Very low quality. Too thick and brittle. This is not how cake boxes should be made. Usually going for a different brand also cheaper but much better single layer cardboard.Not recommended!

Very happy with this purchase - solid, easy to form cake bases complete with cake bases - would recommend & definitely buy again.Side note - the cake it housed was a hit, chocolate orange with not a crumb left.

Very pleased with this product, the board fitted well in the box, which was easy to fold and put together, and the lid fitted perfectly, would definitely order this item again, very good value for money, delivery was very quick, very pleased.
