I love this product, my children last a long time entertained and working attention

My 7 yr old grandson saw K'NEX in a toy magazine and told me how much he loved playing with them at preschool. Then I saw these for his age that were motorized. He loves building and then making what he built come to life. I feel these toys are creative toys that help to develop their imagination. Who knows K'NEX you are possibly planting seeds for future engineers. It's a very good investment toward the future and you can also add to the sets. I bought a plastic carrying case for storage. K'NEX might want to invest in making their own. Mine I got from Walmart in the sewing/arts/crafts dept. Stackable and clear or colored. Smart for loose pieces.

Son loves this product, and we have had lots of fun with it so far - no complaints. However, the instruction booklet is a bit of a misnomer. The booklet covers some builds, and minimally at that, culminating in a couple page spread of a couple dozen images of fully completed builds that are apparently included in the 50 in this box. No instructions, no progress pictures, not even full page pictures. Some of the pictures are so small you can barely tell what they are supposed to be, let alone figure out how to build them. If you advertise a product as containing 50 builds, the instructions for them should be included. More accurately, without consulting the book for reference, I'd estimate 25 builds and then 25 pictures of other things made with K'nex. Still, excellent product, otherwise.

My son wants to get into engineering/ building when he gets older. With that and his love of robotics, this was perfect to get him started. He also has ADHD, among some other things, so finding something that gets him motivated, settled and relaxed can be an obstacles in itself. This has worked wonders. He absolutely loves it and already asking for additional sets. I consider that a win!

Pieces are great to handle and can be almost effortlessly joint by you kid IF THEY ARE WITHIN THE TARGETED AGE. Since our kits are still new, we need to use all pieces before it becomes a breeze to assemble all projects. Numbers, letters of the alphabet, simple toy ideas: think about it and in minutes its done. And the best feature is the great amount of pieces available, enough to build several toys at once without running out of joints or links. Warning, the small green links are a bit too hard and do bounce off and get lost in twilight zone pretty easily. But with the tiny pricetag, I just bought another kit to ease off my worries. It is amazing how we have a PS4, a NSwitch and a Wii, and yet, once my kids see me start building something, they just drop em off to join in. If I could ask for something, that would be to hae a Mindstorm like brick which could snap easily with these kits.

Played with these as a kid. I bought these for my daughter and I to build. It was fun and she loved it. The instructions were nice.

My grandson loves these, he is 9. Bought them for Xmas. He was off his computer for a long time to play. He made some awesome things. Very nice kit. I bought extra batteries because I had bought other kits. He said they have them at school and everyone likes to play with them. It was a good purchase and I recommend this kit and others. I felt this was the best buy because of the battery and the amount of pcs. Buy from Amazon. Other sellers charge well over the listed price. Beware. I paid $99.99 for the first kit and I didn't check out other sellers. I really thought it was Amazon because it was Prime. Sent it back and had to pay for shipping but I got most of my money back. That was such a rip off.

De kleuren van de stokjes komen niet overeen met de originele kleuren die aangeven word op de doos en in de instructie handleiding. Ik weet niet beter dan dat de vorm en maat van de onderdelen zijn verbonden aan een kleur. Omdat het niet overeenkomt in de handleiding is het echt even zoeken. Het lijkt zelfs wel een fabrieksfout.

Difficult for a seven year old on their own, but ace working together with your child. Child boss = daddy helper! great fun, and gets them away from lap tops!! Recommended strongly!

Mein Sohn 1988 geboren hat bereits mit knex gespielt, habe ich aufgehoben für den zweiten Sohn 2001 geboren und nun spielen die Enkel damit und benötigen immer mehr, weil sie so kreativ sein können. Ein tolles Spielzeug.
