Super Easy. $8 vs $2,600
The garage door repair guy that came and looked at my unit told me that I need a whole new garage door unit, rails and possibly a new door. He quoted me $2600 for the job. I asked him what was wrong with the unit he said something had broken internally and he can’t repair it because he doesn’t have the part.I got on a ladder and looked at the unit myself. This coupler was cracked. I purchased two of them since I have two garage door openers for $7.50. It took me a grand total of 11 minutes to install this coupler and it works perfectly.

Its a great fit
Been living here for about 8 years, and one day the garage opener did not work,Motor was running but no garage door open. So out comes the ladder and up I go, first I unplugged the motor, and look at the drive link and found it had been shredded, blown a part. Amazon to the rescue, next weekend part in hand time to install, fit perfect.......
