The idea of a soft touch shutter release button is compelling and they do improve the handling of cameras. But inevitably at some point during the everyday shooting process they get knocked and/or lost. Which is why it’s irritating and a little puzzling as to why they are so relatively expensive. It’s only a tiny piece of something.

Quite good for the price. Ideal to have two as one may detach while being used.

2 things:1. I was unable to attach it with the secure rubber thing.. pretty useless2. It can dettach itself easily :( i already lost 2

So I got back to photography after 15 years, very excited with my new Fuji X100V! But soon noticed everyone on YouTube showing their camera(s) fitted with these "buttons", a novelty (to me) apparently invented to enhance the camera... sensitivity (!?). I fitted a dark red one on my black X100V and admittedly it looks cool. Other than that, it is completely useless (actually I got several unintentional shots) and probably a risk because the factory shutter gets more exposed to hits, force etc. I wouldn't recommend unless you are inclined to fads. EDIT: two days later it disappeared, and I am glad it did.

Nice little addition to my new Fuji X-T5. Feels nicer on the finger than stock shutter button. Looks really cool on the camera too.

The buttons look the part, but the screw thread is very short and the two painted buttons are difficult to fit because the paint covers the thread. The brass button is not painted and fits more easily, but the short thread means it is still liable to fall off too easily. Poor buy, will be returning for refund.
