Bought this for those small DIY jobs. The tool itself is ok, not mega powerful but good enough. The let down are the accessories. They are very flimsy and obviously cheaply made. Light work using the steel brush, became useless after 5 minutes. Same with the sanding stones accessories. Lasted all of 5 minutes. The sanding sleeves are a loose fit on the holder so rendered useless. Some of them don't even fit. For the tool itself all good but not worth it for the rubbish accessories.

I had originally bought this for small D.I.Y projects like cutting thick plastic and sanding it etc for Dirtbike parts to fit better. But recently I had a padlock get stuck from Rust and this dremel cut right through the metal locking bar. Is there anything this dremel can't do? It's perfect!

Anything less than 8v for hobby / DIY is not worth buying. This fits the bell perfectly, quick recharge as well. Only thing not to happy about is the heat build up in the tool after continous use. That said I am well pleased as are half a dozen friends who have also purchased one. If you let the tool do the work with a light touch it's great.

Ordered on a whim the cordless version thinking this must be too good to be true. Worked brilliantly for about a week (although has about 30 mins use time and 5-7 hours to recharge!) started whining and juddering at me and now won’t stay on, suspect cheap components and bearings have gone. Has gone in the bin and a genuine dremel purchased. Don’t waste your money on this junk

Had this delivered on Saturday,set about taking some plastic off the bottom of a door,couple of mm.within 15 minutes it was smoking and making all sorts of weird noises.then it just packed in a cloud of smoke.not fit for purpose shocking piece of kit.i work all all day long with power tools ,I was not expecting a lot for the price, but this was beyond bad.made in China,should of known.
