Review: Faintly medicinal smell - Bought this looking for that squeaky clean feel but it doesn’t quite give that. Faint medicinal or medicated smell which doesn’t bother me. Will need to use this for longer but I do feel like my scalp becomes slightly less oily using this twice a week.

I was able to sleep through the night without itching. Great value for money, lathers well, I didn't notice a smell, and it works very well. Hair was still the same type of oily, but the discomfort all went away. Great product.

**Q: Why is this so expensive? I can buy the same at my local walmart for under $8.00. Wont be buying from amazon.**
A: Neutrogena CLAIMS to have more tested science to their products. I 'think' that is their justification, more R & D in their stuff.

**Q: What’s the difference between this and the t/sal therapeutic shampoo?**
A: There is no difference in ingredients of two shampoos; the only difference is the volume of 12 fl. oz for this shampoo.

**Q: is this as good as the discontinued Extra strength T/Gel shampoo from Neutrogena (brown shampoo)??? I am very wary to switch but have No choice**
A: Sir, I have had SOME success with this. I know what you mean about the brown T gel product. I actually prefer this new one as it is MEDICATED and CLEAR. So, I actually prefer the 'new model' in that perspective. Just sayin'  . . . . .
