Our placemats do not have additional non-slip backings - these are often not food-safe or compliant with EN71 Toy Safety as they can start to degrade and come apart. Our placemats are slightly textured so are not completely smooth. Contrary to another reply to this question please do NOT use baby wipes to clean our placemats (or in our opinion any food surface) - baby wipes are full of all sorts of chemicals including phenoxyethanol, malic acid, tocopheryl acetate and propylene glycol! To care for our placemats simply wipe them clean after use with a soft cloth - a mild detergent such as Fairy Liquid is fine. Regards -Little Wigwam.

Are these bendy mats or solid ones please?

Our placemats are bendy, but not so flexible that they can be rolled up (or folded!). Simply wipe clean after use with a soft cloth and your placemats will last you a long time - they are printed with UV-resistant inks and sealant with a protective varnish. Regards -Little Wigwam. .
