The long elastic strap is very versatile, allowing lots of wraps in one position or tapered up towards your calf. Can be as tight or as slack as you want. I keep it wound tight round the Achilles for certain exercises and it gives great support and a lot of confidence.Originally bought to help with recovery/pain but wear it as a matter of course now which will hopefully help reduce/prevent aggravating the injury. If I had to ake a small criticism it would be that if you were wearing this fo say a sprained ankle rather than the Achilles, maybe the bit that slips over your foot could be a little tighter which I think would help stabilise the ankle in left-right movement. It is waste of money, its poor quality and when I wanted to return the product, the fee was 4 pounds.
