Mostly a piece of junk - and poor delivery
I ordered the item on Dec 11, with a delivery date of the next week. That was delayed and finally received on Dec 30th, with no communication from seller. From Amazon, all I got was "contact the seller". When it arrived, I was very disappointed. I had already ordered a similar item from another company which arrived on time. I opened this one to compare them and was very disappointed. The path of the swing is shown by sequins and after my grandson and I doing two or three "practice" easy swings with our hand (much less powerful than a golf club), the sequins started to not be able to be returned to place. I imagine a golf club would destroy this in no time at all. Amazon had already given me a refund for the late delivery and I have been trying now since Jan 3rd to return the item. Amazon has told me that after a second request to them, if I don't hear in 5 days I can get rid of the item. I appreciate Amazon - but not this company or article. My one complaint with Amazon is that it was hard to get information from them because all of the automatic replies directed me to the seller who is definitely not responsive. Customer Chat finally resolved this (2 chats, one for the refund, and a second today to have a second request for return entered.) Don't waste your money. Good idea, but go with a different product different seller.

Actually works
So I ended up giving this to my bf as an early Christmas present because I was worried it was cheap and wouldn’t actually hold up. I was wrong. It works great!! Doesn’t move around or slide and it’s super durable. Worth it. He loves it!

DO NOT BUY
complete gimmick. horrible quality material. the mat does not stay in place. they give you 1 lousy stake that is suppose to hold the entire mat down. the mat itself was delivered curved so unusable. the little flakes on the mat were also bad quality and did not work properly. i threw it away. not worth returning.DO NOT PURCHASE

Horrible design great idea though
This is a really good idea, and the rubber mat and the sequins are a good concept but the execution is just downright bad. The sequins are attached to a VERY thin fabric with holes at every corner for mounting to the rubber mat underneath. The problem is that there are four holes on the “back” of the mat, which makes sense, but the part of the mat that mounts into the ground is at the front… so every time you strike the mat the whole thing flips up and you have to reset it. The mount that anchors it to the ground should be at the back, on the same side as the four mounting screws/holes. Anyway, the holes ripped the very first time I swung the club so either way not a great design. The mat should be fully attached to the rubber base all the way around and the ground anchor should be at the back of the mat for this to even start to work. Returning now.

Golf Training Mat does not hold up
I purchased this for my husband, thinking he would like this for helping with his golf swing. First off it did not arrive in time for Christmas. It was late. It arrived a day later than the cut off. I had put in for a refund since I figured it was lost in transit, but it showed up. In good faith I cancelled the refund. My husband was delighted and went to use it. After 5-6 swings the whole thing fell apart. I reached out for a refund and now I haven't heard a thing back from the company. Will continue to work with Amazon to get a refund. If you are considering this product, I would steer clear. It is very cheaply made and it is not made from materials that would withstand constant swings of any kind of golf club. You can see by the photos I have attached.

I dig it
Ordered the mat + base. Cannot say I at all expected what I received - I had assumed the mat had a base the could be attached. It had a separate thinner trainer pad for the base. I was confused because the main mate doesn’t attach to the pad? But it bothers me not I’m happy with the product overall. I think my mom will enjoy

Could be great
The good: when you strike it with your club, you get a very visible defined look at where you make contact, and what direction the club face was on the swing. That part does work exactly as advertised. The Bad:The quality. Sequins are flying off bit by bit within about 10 swings. It will only get worse. It has the identical build quality of those TJ MAX pillows with sequins, where who flip them one way for one design, and flip back the other for the original. Imagine not gently flipping those with your hands, but striking them with a metal club head. This product would be worth $50 if it had a rock solid design that isn’t destined to fail soon. The concept is brilliant, the execution isn’t
