A good, strong, user-friendly garlic and ginger press.
We’ve had several different garlic presses in our 50+ x 2 culinary years, that for one reason or another didn’t stay the course, (eg our last one, from Ikea of all places - simply snapped in two!), but, with the arrival a couple of years or so ago of this Lufu model, we are beginning to think it will see us out and therefore get passed on to the next generation. Note. We went for this particular press because it said it also presses (tough) raw ginger - which it does!

Sturdy and works well.
Had this for 2 years now...still going strong.Usually I don't bother with reviews but today got a bee in the bonnet about ppl posting reviews which are useless. What is the point of saying "I haven't tried it yet but it looks good" etc etcAnyway...this works well and it still looks like new.

Perfect
Simply the best garlic press I've ever used: it's two solid pieces of hinged metal and very sturdy, the little studs on the press which line up with the holes ensure you get the most out of your cloves, and it's very easy to clean.

You will no need to buy another one anymore!
Buying cheap kitchen wear is false evonomy. After loosing the removable part of many cheap presses, getting black metalic garlic from leaking metal press, broke some of those plastic (what was i thinking?) supermarket press. i thought i just gonna have to find a fool proof one. This is it!

Nice garlic smasher.
Good quality product, it smashes garlics as promised, perfect for cooking sauces. It's easy to use and easy to wash, I used it for smashing other things like ginger and it did the job. It comes in a very fancy box.

Really well made!
Holes are small so the smashed garlic is truly finely minced. The holder is large so can handle both large and small pieces of garlic. Easy cleanup because of the larger surface and garlic does not get stuck in the holes.

From the reviews, I expected something special, however ...
From the reviews, I expected something special, however one is still left with half of the garlic to clear out of press after use. It is very well made and performs well, but it is not exactly what I was expecting.

A rare thing these days: it does what it’s supposed to do very well!
A good, solid garlic press with an ergonomic handle. Easy to clean because there’s hardly any garlic left at the end!
