Biona Organic Apple Puree 700g, Pack of 6

I have been ordering it so many times and it is very tasty. Use it to mix with mt chia seeds or bake cakes.

Packaged arrived intact! I guess some might have been unlucky with their deliveryman :/. Also, some people on here seem to complain that it's just "apple sauce" well... compote is apple sauce... It's delicious, I love it! Will most likely purchase again :)

Love love love this apple compote/ puree. Absolutely perfect with Greek yoghurt, protein shakes or on its own. Can’t get enough of it so great to be able to order as a pack of six. Great price, particularly on subscription, and delivered promptly (same day) with care so all glass jars were intact (such a relief as I was cautious based on other reviews and because of this, have previously ordered direct from the manufacturer, but Amazon was cheaper and quicker). 🙏

I love this product and have received it several times with no issues and beautifully protected. Yesterday we received a tangled mess of broken glass and puree. The bubble wrap was a single layer, hardly any packing paper in the box, the box was wet and crumpled and no indication that the content was fragile. I managed to rescue four jars but with a lot of effort. The replacement arrived today and was in the same mess. Come on Amazon. This is a fantastic product, but I am scared to order it again. Please package carefully.

I love thus product and use it for baking fairy cakes (as an egg replacer) as well as straight out of the bottle. Nice, mildly sweet taste. The main downside is that you have to consume within 3 days of opening, which is a challenge to say the least.

Absolutely delicious

The puree itself is 3.5/5. it's got a good texture, though slightly thin, and tastes naturally apple-y. The problem is the delivery. I have ordered 5 lots of Biona puree jars (various flavours) through subscribe and save. In each and every order there has been at least one smashed jar. The packaging is totally inadequate - consisting of one super thin layer of bubble wrap and the ubiquitous strip of brown paper sitting on top. They have never been put in a suitably-sized box and never had any actual padding. It's no wonder they smash. Getting a refund seems to have been made so much harder too. I shan't buy them again. Interestingly I have also ordered tins direct from Biona and they arrived dented beyond belief. Not just little dings, but tins concertinaed so badly that they actually shrunk in size. A pallet of tinned toms had all the tins on the inside dented, so they must have been put on the pallet like it. Getting a refund from them proved very difficult. Shame because their products are actually quite nice.

Good apple puree but poorly packed and delivered with one jar shattered, contents lost. Very messy and sticky clean-up. Inadequate packing by Biona and Amazon. No buffer between jars in Biona 6-pack, no "This way up" warning on Amazon box, delivered vertically up-ended. No scope for remediation by Amazon, limited to "Return or replace" of entire pack. All I want is the missing jar (or a refund for it) please BIONA! I buy a lot of stuff from you.
